1. 286.5bhp from bolt on breather mods prior to remap, seems like good gains to me on a 11yr old motor..........
 2. Yes, which is exactly what we said over there about dyno discrepancies and no way a std de was producing 295hp, but it was defended Pleased you have actually got it mapped though buddy It was never standard by the way mate. But yup pleased with results. I took her out for a burn today and she feels like a different car. Money very well spent. From my experience with uprev id recommend all day...providing the base work is done.
 3. Its nice to know ive got a pretty healthy zed too!! Ha...Jellybaby???
 4. Well yup although it still produced a good first run, just not 295, but like most said, different dyno, different reading...although i am now convinced that the ECU doesnt try and revert back to stock after bolt ons.
 5. yup noticeably more responsive, pulls quite a lot harder top end too.
 6. Hi guys, thought id post this up as some may be interested. Firstly, this is what ive done prior to uprev: Motordyne Art de-cats XYZ HFC Y pipe Custom 3" boxless mid-pipe Plenum spacer Pipercross panel filter Non 'performance' related mods: 19" Nismo GT4's Lowered So, I decided to go with Horsham Developments, what a nice bunch of guys and obvious straight away that these chaps know what theyre talking about when it comes to Zeds be it 350z or 370z. Met the dog too which was happily crunching on a dead coot before swallowing the whole thing...legs and all!! So the uprev began, was pleased with the initial run: 286.5 HP (Before Uprev). Being that this is a 2005 DE I was pretty pleased, as we all know, over the years your car will lose HP. I do wonder that if i hadnt done the above mods, would my car have reached this reading? Which also throws a spanner in the works when it comes to the ECU over-riding any bolt on mod that you do. I have my own opinion on this and the guys at HD seemed to agree. That said, its about the gains before and after rather than HP and from what ive heard, most dynos vary somewhat. Gotta say, she does feel more responsive, from 1st to 3rd and more poky at higher speeds too. Mpg may have improved but need to do some short trips to and from work to see exactly what shes now doing... Thanks to the guys at HD, well worth it. Anyway, heres the results after Uprev...make of it what you will!
 7. Hopefully ill get a look on the 11th of next month as im uprevving at H Dev! I dont take it to work but i have a pic but yep looks really and its a practical gt car but 5 seconds to 60 and 13 sec 1/ 4 miles it's no rocket ship maybe i need a supercharger Thats PRETTY quick!! Obviously my 350 will do that after uprev wont it!!! Hahaha
 8. Cat owners, Save money on expensive cat carriers. Simply tie your pets tail to one of its back legs to make a handy carrying loop

 9. Hopefully ill get a look on the 11th of next month as im uprevving at H Dev!
 10. Looking forward to Battalion 44 when it arrives! Looks awesome.
 11. Where does your 370 come into its own?
 12. But not a forged stronger option for reasonable money. Luckily I quite like the design of the rays, mainly as the 3 dots on each spoke matches the door handles. I've been looking for some similar weight but wider alloys for years and never found any that are reasonably priced enough to make me switch. Might have to after the TTs though. 19" LMGT4's?
 13. The zed isnt really a 0-60 car, it comes into its own from 45 onwards imo. It has a great hp/tq curve and as cars go, its still pretty quick, handles great and looks the dogs danglies!...especially when lowered a little and sitting on a nice set of 19's!!
 14.
I just had mine dynoed, I have a 2006 Revup, the only mods done are nonresonated decats, Y pipe and a Cobra resonated exhaust, everything else is bone stock, with ~45k miles on the clock atm.
So something isnt right here, You seem to have a lot of drag and wheel power looks lower than it should be...like mine. I'll post my next dyno results and see what it reads. There are quite a few interesting posts on this thread so make of it what you will. But it does seem that dynos are pretty misleading and as a few have rightly said, the best way of reading a dyno is the before and after. Then you know what gains you are getting. And im sure that if you were to put it on another dyno youd get a different reading depending on tyre pressures, climate etc etc

I see you had your measurement done on a MAHA LPS300 too, could you please post, or send me a full dyno sheet? Many thanks!
Yes , just out of interest really but not sure of its accuracy as wheel power was down a fair bit and looking at the hp it seems, especially to some that it was a bit high...so a little confusing really. Im getting uprev soon so will post before and after as and when!although the car feels great especially with motordyne hfc y pipe now fitted. this is all i had. Did you have an opinion on this dyno or what was your experience?
 16. Ok so heres a small vid of the Motordyne Art pipes with XYZ HFC Y pipe to give you an idea of sound...

My art pipes failed emission but never really gave it a long run before hand though but I have a feeling they would pass as I hardly smell anything in the cabin haha were as decatted could taste the fuel when flooring it.
Could you taste it when starting the car cold too? Just wondering if this is normal decatted. I have Art Decat/Test pipes and MXP Cat Back Exhaust.
Normal I think!! I love the smell of petrol in the morning!!
It doesn't happen with aircon on. But that f#$ with my gains Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
Might of found a contributing factor, no pollen filter installed whatsoever, just a hole Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk
Ha!!
