I thought id give my mechanic a mention, just a note to say cheers for the work hes done on my car over the years. Its not very often that i recommend people but i know that most on here would like to know that when they entrust a mechanic to work on their pride and joy, they want to be able to trust that theyre getting a fair deal, an honest opinion, a good knowledge of the car and a reliable service. It also helps if your mechanic is a car fanatic too! So id just like to thank Ollie and the guys at Owens Garage in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Over the years hes done a number of services, up-grades and mods to my zed while offering some great advice and pointers along the way. And for once, ive found a mechanic that doesnt say 'sorry mate i cant do that' but rather 'yeah no problem i can make that work' or 'there was a slight problem with this/that part but ive managed to modify it and now it fits great'!! Ive recommended Ollie a couple of zed owners on here and know them to be very satisfied with his work too. What a breath of fresh air!! So, if youre looking for a good trusty mechanic for your zed, then hes the man in my book!!

True, but when the driver doesn't change then power is nothing without control. "First make it stop, then make it handle, then make it go." Old, but still true. And I'm talking about road driving more than track. Agree with both points although id say the brakes on the zed are more than ample to accommodate the gains made from uprev in this case. As for tyres, you be a fool to skimp on a decent set on this car!

'I manage to get 305 hp after remap with all the bolt on's. But the car prior and after remap was completely different. Power delivery and response where more smooth and instant, torque delivery was more even over rpm's. A lot better car afterwards' Exactly.

Loud but in a good way, not boyracer loud!! Sounds awesome and probably the best exhaust set-up for the 350/370 imo.

Your post is the reason for my post mate lol. Not same setup but close As has been said, if you have a half decent zed then im sure youll see the expected gains.

It IS transformed, its like a different car, acceleration better, torque better, through the gears better, smoother and added 3-4 mpg too. Well worth the cash.Its not just about HP...its the over-all effect that uprev has on the car. Do it...Sounds like youve done the basics which will get the most out of your car when you uprev it.

Does anyone know where i can get a new undertray for my zed, mines getting loose and i have nightmares about it coming off one day and doing some damage!! Not really after an aluminium one unless i find out the price is similar!! Thanks guys.

Just off the point slightly but also slightly relevant, i was chatting to an ex F1 test driver the other day and he asked whos the zed was, i said mine, he said 'i almost bought one of those when they came out after test driving it, its one of the best handling cars ive driven, i loved it'. He said 'for me, sports cars should look like that'...incidently he turned up in a gorgeous Aston Martin Vantage. I was quite chuffed!!! Haha
