  1. Nice one guys, thanks. Ive heard new theyre around £800!!!
  2. Ok so i have a problem with my headlights, not sides or full beam. They cut out randomly. It seems to have been traced back to the IPDM unit...so, my question is, is this unit plug and play or does it need to be paired to the car thus then having to re-program my keys too. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm guessing this is an expensive part if bought from Nissan....HELP!!
  3. I Want An Airbox Mod Kit 1. Zippypooz 2. 3. 4. 5.
  4. Yep, ordered mine now as well Got a headlight gone as well now so good (or bad) timing to get them all replaced in one hit! Have been assured by my mechanic guru that wheel arch liner is the best & quickest route in. theyre pretty small but the fitment is correct
  5. These leds are the same as ive just ordered, thought id give them a go too. Theres no easy way to replace the bulbs, either bumper removal or wheel arch liner removal...obviously remove the rim first!...the 2nd option being less stressful!!
  6. The only thing I will say about those particular ones is that the board style where the contacts are dont always fit perfectly in the factory holder. I fitted one of this style in the boot light and found it was very loose. It hasnt fallen out yet but may be a different story in the headlights as if it falls out it will then be stuck inside the headlight housing. Those particular ones might be thicker and you may npt have that issue but just going off my experience. I agree, thought about these but can see a problem waiting to happen!!
  7. Not seen led's in Halfrauds. Will have a look next time im in the area.
  8. Like many, ive been trying to find a reliable pair of led's for my sidelights. I checked the link that Sam kindly posted but these are now discontinued. ...was chatting to a guy at work that makes led's and he said go for the more expensive options as the cheaper ones always fail...which is personally what i have found although ive noticed that some of you have been luckier i think!!...so i thought id try out these and see what happens!! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-350z-02-on-LED-Side-Light-SUPER-BRIGHT-Bulbs-3w-Osram-W5W-501-T10-/131801559418?hash=item1eaffc317a:g:fIsAAOSwud1W~7me
  9. I'm sure I recall another member some while back having this issue and it turned out to be the battery, so if yours is getting on years might be worth having that tested, or do a swap before handing over your hard- earned. The battery is pretty new Colin. Annoying problem eh!!
  10. possibly but yeah like you say, both ballasts? All bulbs are new, will check the earth though, thanks.
  11. Yeah it is!! Dont really want to drive at night just in case they all go out!!
  12. Hi all, can anyone shed any 'light' on this problem...both my headlights turn on fine but after 5-15 mins they start flickering...very slightly and very fast...like theres a loose connection somewhere. Its not bump or vibration related, nor one or the other but both...although not as the same time. One actually went out so had to drive with the full beam on...i pulled over, turned the lights off and on again and it also came on. Does it eveytime whether rainy or dry. Havnt a clue what could be wrong. HELP!!!
  13. Hi guys and gals, Ive designed and copied the OEM rear wheel arch stoneguard panels that sit just in front of the rear arch. Ideal if you are wanting to replace your tired looking panels with new shiny ones or youre having to replace them due to body repairs and resprays. These panels are made from clear gloss 3M Ventureshield and fit exactly where the OEM ones fit. Im selling these as a pair, one left, one right for £28 inc delivery. Thanks for looking!
  14. Hmmm its odd as it never clicked before but worked!
  15. Where did you get these!!?
  16. Yup, i realised this when we looked at the fixings and ended up having to push the bolt up from the bottom and tightening the nut on the top...which i dont actually like as someone could unscrew it!! Trying to find some sort of locking nut at the mo...although most are pretty ugly!!
  17. I was lucky as i have a friend whos a sprayer so charged me about £50!! It took RT about 2 hours all in all but remember, make sure the holes under the spoiler are flush with it, mine were slightly proud so they had to grind them down a bit, didnt affect the paintwork as they were pretty careful.Id suggest getting someone to fit it as if they do something wrong its their problem not yours!...Although RT are pretty experienced in fitting this kinda thing so i had no worries there.
  18. So this morning I went with Payco (Thanks Martin) to see the guys at RT Performance where they kindly fitted my new spoiler, purchased from Chris at Tarmac...Heres the result! Sorry about the poor light, i took this after 7pm!! But gives you an idea!! Really happy and RT were top notch...although i did feel a little poor after seeing some of the cars they have in there at the mo!! Thanks to my buddy Kev at Dinnages too for a great spray match!...better photos at bottom of page!
