  1. Ok so heres the reflective material. Its glossy and slightly metallic. The black turns white/yellow although it doesnt really show in the photo.
  2. I can do that if required yes, i get where youre coming from bud. Although it would need to be spot on as i wouldnt want to sell anything thats not pretty exact.Good idea though. Like you I work in printing, so maybe Pantone 144c hahaha! Hahaha i'll check my pantone book!
  3. Im going to make one as just the shape first and see how it looks just going straight over the little indents on the reflector. Im also gonna produce one that has holes in it so that the indents show through...I think the latter may be better as it will look like its supposed to be there and not just an add on...but we'll see how it comes out. Nice to see some positive posts so thanks chaps. I'll post some photos of each when i'm done so i can get your opinions and so you can see what you'll be getting. Please post more comments if you're interested...or uninterested!!...and should you have any questions id be happy to answer them!

  5. Me too, thats what i was after but not paying that much for a bit of plastic!
  6. Sorry, i forgot to mention, i can do black reflective too. Black reflective glows white!
  7. Hi guys n girls, I'm gauging opinion here before i go ahead with this to see what interest i get. I WAS looking to change my front bumper reflectors to clear rather than that dated orange set that comes with the car. But looking at prices, i came to the conclusion that the bolt on replacements do seem a little high in price for what they actually are. Around £70 upwards! So, being in the vinyl/reflective trade i'm thinking of making my own self adhesive kits that adhere directly over the reflector...1) at a much cheaper cost and 2) allowing the owner to colour code their reflector without having to remove the original one. So, for instance, if you have a blue zed then you could purchase a blue reflective kit, a black zed, a black reflective kit and so on. Colour wise i can do blue, black, red, white, yellow, orange and green...so, i'm wondering if there's any interest out there for this 'mod'!! One more thing, I can also do standard coloured vinyls from gloss and matte colours to metallics should you not want reflectives. Thanks for reading, your comments would be appreciated, for or against!
  8. Im thinking about getting a pair of these...anyone have some!? Thanks!
  9. It works with all the iphones, plus comes with steering controls although not sure if thats an extra. Wiring is all hidden but youd need to ask a pro ice company about that...Huets are the best guys to ask. The dock part where you plug in your iphone goes in the small compartment (armrest part) where youd normally have the bluetooth adaptor.
  10. Be aware that for Apple Play and Android Auto they plug in via a wire for display of apps & charging and BT for phone. So you will have a wire to plug in to still... I think you can just run the cable under and along the centre colsole and into the cubby, the Alpine comes with one. Not liking the idea of wires on show but if I can be ran into the cubby above the unit that would be ideal ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Thats what the company told me, thats how they fit them. By cubby, i mean the compartment between the seats. The Alpine is expensive though but worth the money imo. Although you do need an iphone to use it.
  11. Ditto! A stereo flashing bright green and blue lights is my idea of tacky but each to their own I guess ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Then the Alpine iLX-700 is the one for you then!

  18. FiddyZed...yup i'll pop some up...I just wanted to fill the arches a little, no scraping or scuffing hence why i went 20mm on the rears rather than 25mm. Since having them done, handling is very slightly 'more planted'....but obviously it was pretty good anyway having been lowered. Other than that, theres not much difference although the stance looks way better!
  19. Ahhhhh...not too close, im near Haywards Heath! Would be good to meet up though at some point as its not THAT far!Keep an eye out for one of Paycos meets, we usually do a couple of South East meets each year!
  20. Ahhh best rims!! Yes, just the rears rolled. Id go for this set up, both front and rear sit directly beneath the arch...but obviously its up to you, mines been lowered around 30mm. I'm not lowered, maybe some teins in the future, might just get a set of 15's and have a play while she's sat in the garage over winter. As I'm itching to do a Mod ! Haha Well theres plenty of mods out there...what have you modded so far? Ahh yours is the black beaut!! defo 15s and 20s!! you know you want to!!
