Sounds like at least you know what the issue is, electrics can be a nightmare.

Check you're not resting your foot on the clutch...I remember, I occasionally had this problem when i first got my zed. Then realised that i was resting my foot lightly on the clutch as i was driving! You only need slight pressure on the pedal and it wont engage. Of course it could be another problem but worth noting just in case!

Hi bud, yeah get in touch. I had a light problem but the ipdm wasn’t the issue in the end, it was a dodgy bulb that was shorting the headlights.

Aggghhh...i bought an ipdm unit from Alex only to find it wasnt actually the problem! So i now have a spare!

So, not REALLY a build thread, maybe a mini one! So just got my zed back from RT Performance after a number of weeks away! Dropped her down to Taras for a roof respray in piano black, Chargespeed rear and Strosek style spoiler fit...oh and a double wing blend and boot lid blend. Gotta say hes done a cracking job! Blending is spot on and fitment is perfect, has totally changed the car, so, thanks Taras for doing such a cracking job! Heres the pics...more to follow...

At the end of the day, we all know that should you go to a dealer, you are not gonna get as good a price than if you sell it privately. Whether PX or not. So as Ekona suggests, its up to you to haggle and attempt to get the best price possible for your pride and joy. Agreed, sometimes a PX is the only option for some people if they are to do a deal with a dealership, but, if youre not happy with the deal you're presented with or even slightly unsure, personally i'd go elsewhere. 8/9/10 grand etc isnt peanuts so its worth shopping around...a friend of mine used to buy his cars from Scotland, where at the time you could get a better deal than down south. He was Scottish so admittedly had family there so he'd fly up and visit his family and go car hunting. He always came back with a car having saved a grand or two! One more thing, when selling your car, don't drive past or view the dealership to see how much they have it up for...ignorance is bliss and having NOT seen it ,right now, you'd be a happy chappie!!
