  1. Happy birthday Octet! Hope you've had a good one
  2. Sure Halfords could do you a deal. Wonder if I can get one under my company's 'ride to work' scheme.... Those chunky tyres would really help with the 16 miles each way!!
  3. After reading through the posts on this thread I thought I'd throw something in. I get about 400 miles out of a tank. That's with the occasional 'giving it some beans' and for the other few hundred miles I'm not exactly driving miss Daisy either. To put it in perspective, my 1.8 litre 20 valve turbo golf GTI also did pretty much exactly the same range per tank. The only difference is that the 370 has a bigger tank. It basically costs me £25 per tank more to fill up than the golf. Obviously the road license is considerably more too but I know which one I'd rather have at the end of the day (it's the 370 in case you weren't sure) I didn't buy the 370 for economy, I bought it because they are awesome in every way and just so happen to be pretty economical too for what they are. In my opinion, no one buys a 2 seater sports car with limited boot space if they're bothered about fuel economy and/or getting a full weeks shopping for a family in the boot.
  4. Hmmm, I'm not planning on doing anything else to it to be honest. But then I said I wasn't going to modify the car at all and look how well that plan went........... You're welcome for the video (if anyone else wants it, feel free to PM me as I can't be arsed to create a photo bucket account just for one video) I think the note may have changed a little already (or maybe I'm used to it a bit now) @Darren-B Not sure what everyone else has been getting. I assumed they'd all be in the same sort of ball park. Maybe having a slightly higher mileage car does help a bit after all! @Octet
  5. Welcome to the forum Mike! How did the plasti dip turn out? Wouldn't mind seeing some pictures
  6. I've had some pretty rubbish luck with it so far (delaminating tyre, hidden branches grinding away in the background lol) It's about time I got some good karma with it!
  7. Get a 370Z Vix, the seats are adjustable in height too! (mine's winched up to the maximum setting as I'm a shortie too lol)
  8. Agreed! And also, I would be interested in reading anything about modifying your zed (or anyone else modifying their zed for that matter!!!!) EDIT: Especially black ones as they are clearly the best!
  9. Welcome to the forum! Looking forward to some pictures!
  10. @GMballistic, I managed to do a video last night (two actually but one of them just had road noise and wind due to the windows being open) The second video was done with the windows up so came out ok but really doesn't do it justice (probably as it was done on the phone rather than a proper recording device) I think the file is 2.8MB so probably to big to post on here anyway lol
  11. I did indeed get that Scotty, I've noticed a bit of difference between them. The 'full fat' mode doesn't accelerate as aggressively as the stock setting for example but does accelerate for longer before needing to change gear (or that's what it seems like to me)
  12. Which one R-Face? Abbey Motorsport or TDI North?
  13. The tunnel run won't be a problem as there's one I drive through every morning, although I have no idea how to get a video on here lol. @ScottyZ It does feel pretty different. I've noticed that the acceleration doesn't seem as fierce but it seems to accelerate for longer.
  14. Welcome to the forum. Hope you find a zed soon
