I'd read through this - excellent guide with some good recommendations not only on product but technique http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6187 My own personal view would be use something like Dodo Lime Prime by hand, followed by a filler heavy glaze like Prima Amigo (or Black hole) and then a wax (oilier than a sealant). So use the lime prime first to remove all the old wax? Should I re clay it then ?? Thanks for helping out a detailing noob

Hi guys, since I've owned my zed I don't think I've looked after a car so much in my life... To be honest I think I'm becoming obsessed lol..... Anyway... I've recently had the front end sprayed and I'm well happy with it But now the rear end is looking a little flat compared to the front (which I fully expected). Does anyone have any tips on making the rear look as good as the front by hand or should I look into getting it professionally polished. Currently I've Clayed, polished (t-cut colour seal) then waxed (dodo juice orange crush) but I'm not sure if im using the right products or if I should be doing something else. The paint feels lovely and smooth but just a little flat.

I can't decide if I really really hate them ..... Or really really love them 😳

I used to have a navarra bought from a Nissan dealer.... After 18 months all four alloys flaked so they fitted a new set of wheels foc under warranty

My Zed has both Tommy K and nismo badges on it..... Confused much?!?!..... In my defence tho I bought it like it... I will get round to taking the nismo off one day lol

Hi guys, owned my beautiful Red Zed for a month now so I'd thought I'd share a little of the work that's been done so far and to see if any of you know anything about the mods that are already on it To start with I bought it private and the guy I bought it from didnt really know what had been done to it exactly. It also had a fair bit of stone chipped paint, split bumper and key mark up the side it. But the price was right. 😉 As you can see the spitter has had a hard life so off to the paint shop it's gone to have the spitter repaired and front end blownover.... Quite happy with the results From owning previous red cars (Alfa 155) I know how difficult red can be but I'm really pleased with it. The car itself came with the following mods when I bought it.... And I'm hoping that you guys could shed some light on the quality of these upgrades Prodrive GC-06D 18" alloys in graphite Kakimoto racing Regu 06&R exhaust with titanium tips (although not sure about the manifold centre) And finally something to do with stillan on the air filter ..... This bit is a mystery to me Custom leather seats are next on the agenda but not happening until September now, black with red piping is favourite at the moment Needless to say zeditis has really set in

I had nvr been a fan of eBay..... But I've sold two cars lately through it both for very good money. I find an auction format works best but with a reserve.... Generates good interest then they bought them direct from me... Even when I was looking for my Z I was checking it all the time.... Although I bought mine from an ad on auto trader lol

Take this screen shot with you and argue that it's false advertising as obviously that unit hasn't been reduced... You never know but it's worth a try lol

If I were you I'd go for the gun metal, or silver, or blue, or black.... Basically I'd go for any colour apart from red. You live too close to me for another red zed to be driving about.😠Only joking welcome

Damn, and I was going to remove these from my Zed for the black burger ones.... Although they have grown on me in the two weeks since I've owned it

I've been thinking about getting my old tatty cloth seats professionally recovered in leather but I'm a bit stuck on choosing the style and colour combo. I've seen some really nice examples as well as some awful efforts.. Atm the moment I'm thinking light grey and dark grey with red stitching but perhaps I should be bolder. What do you think guys??? I'm looking for some inspiration

I've only owned my Z for a week but I'm absolutely astonished that I'm getting 25mpg out of it!! (been driven hard)... I was expecting more like 15-18mpg. Put in to context my old Lexus is200 would only return 25mpg and the wife's 2.5 v6 touareg only gives 20mpg at best.... Needless to say I'm well happy

Just got it back from the garage giving it the once over... All good mechanically which is always a relief when your buying private Pictures of the spitter.... What do we think repair or replace???
