YES! So many awful adverts on pistonheads it's cringe worthy. I'm constantly browsing the website at work and it's shocking how bad some of the adverts are.

I agree ^. Kinda pointless going FI on the ep3 in my opinion. A manifold + straight through exhaust and k100 should see around an extra 30bhp realisticly, strip the interior/ sort the suspension and you have a cracking little B road basher.

It's a speed limit not a target, you need to be more patient.... I know it can be frustrating if someone gets into the outside lane to turn right but better that than stay on the inside then indicate to turn right!! True! Tho I do wonder how many people on this forum would be guilty of undertaking said slow driver.....

Do you have any pictures of the car?

Sounds like you've got a case of letting the exitement of buying go to your head tbh.... I paid 5,900 for a 04 with 57,000 miles in mint nick, full history. Haggle him or shop around!

Saxo VTS? Weighs nothing, 130bhp and can buy one for under £500. Strip it out stick a decent seat in it and away you go! I'm actually buying one next month with the intention of doing this, really great little hot hatch.

Once every now and again I'll go out for a late night drive, either alone or in a small convoy, normally on the weekends. I tend to do it instead of going out drinking and clubbing etc (on the rare occasion I'm not out on the weekend) Good fun, empty roads, windows down and the sound of a V6 singing away -

Dibs if buyer pulls out! -
I'd normally ignore these drivers or slow down to annoy them but I slipped up today and lost my temper a bit. Anyhow lesson learnt, it won't be long before he puts his car in a ditch anyway. It does baffle me tho, I'm not one for "street racing" but if I was I wouldn't pick fights with cars much faster than mine anyway. It's not like their was any space to race anyway, he just wanted to get ahead and was prepared to put other people in danger in order to do so.

What is it with saloon drivers? yesterday I was driving to work and some idiot in a mondeo accelerated hard to catch up to me after I passed him waiting on a roundabout. He tailgaited me all the way to the slip road and then undertook me on the hard shoulder cutting across the traffic to get infront of me! I brushed it off and let him get on with it, didn't think much of it. Then on my way to work this morning I see the same guy at the same roundabout, he was sat a bit further back in traffic and as soon as he seen me he overtook the traffic leading up to the roundabout and accelerated hard to catch up to me, again sitting right on my rear bumper. This time I'm thinking "whats this guys problem?" admittedly I started getting a bit annoyed and when the traffic thinned out on the slip road I accelerated away from him in second gear (only to 60 MPH), I slowed to to join the traffic and he came storming up behind me and pulled straight into the motorway before the sliproad had ended nearly causing an accident, once past me he slowed down again to a normal speed. I've came across people like this before and everytime I've got to ask myself "what are they trying to prove?" I'm really frustrated at myself for retaliating and it's actually got under my skin a bit today and wound me up, just thought I'd vent by sharing it on here.

It takes a while to get the hang of heel and toe but its a great feeling when you start getting it right. I find it much easier under heavy breaking for some reason...

Ah I didn't realize garageband had built in amp models etc, I prefer to mic up my amps if I'm recording but it can be a right pain to get right and it's a very loud way of doing things, sounds great when it's finished tho! I'm similar to you, I play all sorts really. I grew up playing metal, killswitch, bullet etc but I also write acoustic stuff and record hiphop backing tracks etc. Aside from that i play bass in a band which is my baby at the minute and where most of my spare time goes. I also just bought an american telecaster and a blues junior and it's great fun learning to play all the hendrix style stuff, the thing really sings. Edit. Would have helped if i quoted convo, this was meant for hensh65. -

Yea man, I've just moved house and that along with going to the gym, working and gigging I don't have much time for recording unfortunately. Still setting up a mini studio in my spare room tho! i've never used garageband as I'm no good with a mac, I use logic and mixcraft depending on what I need recording. What sort of music do you play? Do you play in any bands or anything? -

Thats the best way! I have a rather large collection of guitars and amps, infact I'd say i spend more on music than I do motoring and thats scary really I've been quite good that way but when i get more space i will be investing in a electric drum kit. No doubt i will over spend as you always end up seeing something that hit better that just happens to be 100 or so over budget That always happens! I've got an electric drum kit too haha! It's hooked up to a MIDI interface on my computer so i can play a beat, track it in midi on my computer and edit it/record with it. it's amazing what you can do with recording tech these days, my bedroom can produce studio quality audio for a fraction of the cost -
Personally I'd just get my own place and let her get on with it. Infact thats exactly what I did in a similar situation with my dad, either way I hope everything sorts itself out for you fella.

A MIM telecaster is not a good guitar for all round playing Unless you look at something like the jim root tele with EMG's it really isn't a versitle guitar. Les paul all day long if it's versatility you're looking for, even the epiphones are cracking guitars. If you want a guitar that does great cleans and a awesome metal tone any Jackson with EMG's will do the job perfectly. -
Surely he won't get much for trade in with a broken engine? I'd imagine he has to throw more than £1200 to get an HR?

hahaha good answer! The nutter smashed my side windows with the thing, he ran off when my rather annoyed friends jumped out the back.
