Or point me in the direction of where I can buy something similar.... My front arch is starting to rot, I don't like the idea of paying for it to be cut out only for it to come back again. Replacing the whole lot seems like a decent option.

No experience of them here. It's a car that's never caught my attention up until recently, saw a heavily modded one on the road not long ago and it looked awesome. It was full on show car standard, changed my opinion on them somewhat, they certainly have potential. Are they all n/a?

From what I gather the limited slip diff kinda makes it hard to do burnouts. Welded diff seems to make it easier. (I might be wrong on this), burnouts ain't my thing, I like my tyres too much.

Really need to get around to getting the front end re sprayed or the whole car wrapped.....

That's crazy low! Like the pessimist I am I'd be worried something wasn't right at that price. It's more than likely a bargain tho. With that millage he could have asked for £7000 and got interest in it.

I can imagine! The stock Z is no slouch and still quick enough for the UK roads. It gave someone in a brand new focus ST a surprise yesterday, I fully expected him to walk me but the Z pulled hard on him in 4th, I was quite surprised actually after the whole ST thread on here

If you're XS is 500 I'd not even bother with insurance (unless their is more damage hidden anywhere). If you're a young driver it will hurt your future premiums regardless of how many years NCB you have. Damage isn't half as bad as what I'd expect, could find a cheap used bumper on here and get it re painted for less than £500

I've swapped out all belts, had oil and filter changed and exhaust checked along with heatsheilds and it's still there! The bloke in the garage is stumped, nobody wants to have anything to do with it because they can't pinpoint where it's coming from. Seem's pointless taking the car to bits without knowing what the cause is. I'm changing the exhaust completely soon and quietly hoping that solves the problem. If not I fear its gearbox related. I'm running these, look's way better than stock but don't expect a massive drop. I've had to use 45 profile tyres to help fill the arch gaps.

Oh and too answer the OP's question.... It's a close call between the Z and my old modded ep3 type R, two totally different animals but both equally fun. Dare I say the ep3 for a more involved and exiting drive.

Be very little in it. Once moving I've found the Z to be on par with stock evos/imprezas. I've kept up with a couple no problem and I've got a DE Z. Once Modified? No chance save yourself the embarrassment

Isn't the argument more torque low down or something? I've never drove an HR, really should get out in one sometime, I'd love the extra revs.
