  3. So no difference in sound or owt? I might go Cosworth so I can cover it in Cosworth stickers and drive like a radgie!
  4. Alreet! Pretty simple question....which one? Need a new panel filter so these are my choices, unless anyone has a better idea?

    Exhaust nuts

I have the mechies on here searching for me!
  8. They charged £60 and that was stripping thr wheel right back and painting it again.
  9. Alreet! Just wondering what size nuts are required for the studs that connect the OEM cats to the y pipe?
  10. Wow, looks like someone got a bargain.... Yeah looks as though you did!
  11. I had speakers in the back of my ST and when I did the install I just disconnected them. If you are connecting your Infinities to your head unit then they will affect your sound quality up at high volumes. The 50w channels just aren't powerful enough to give you clarity all the way through the volume range. You are best off with just one set of components through and your sub through the amp. Otherwise you will end up with one half of your highs and mids being clear and the other half being distorted when you crank the volume up. If you let me know what kind of money you want to spend and what music you listen to the most I can advise you best on what speakers to go for.
  12. To be fair you won't need to get anything else if you have a good set of components and a decent sub. I won my first EMMA competition with a set of Focal Access components and a Hertz HX250 sub powered by a Rainbow 4.300 amp. Considering I was up against 2 cars that were full of speakers it just goes to show that quality always beats quantity. So if you are thinking of spending some money then I would say just get some better components than the Infinitys and sell them. Hertz are decent, Rainbow are also fantastic, Focal do some pretty reasonable stuff too.
  13. Ah right, well give them a go but I reckon you'll rip them out pretty sharpish. What type of music are you listening to?
  14. I've never been a fan of mixing makes of speakers for your highs and mids. If you just want an upgrade from standard then I guess they'll be fine but if you're serious about getting a decent sound then I would forget about the Hertz and JBLs. If you've got Infinity components then go for Infinity. Just a quick question though, if you've got Infinity components then why do you need some more components?
  15. There is a chance that I may just make this.....slim.....but a chance nonetheless.
  16. Absolutely devastating, it's an awful thought to think that lads and lasses who go away to work on a bomb in the middle of the sea in order to make a better life for themselves can't rely on their mode of transport to keep them alive. They have now grounded all L2 Super Pumas and alot of platforms will be dowmanning to cope with the reduced choppers running. I've been working offshore for 7 years now and even though there is the fact that on average one chopper per year goes down, you just have to bury it to the back of your mind. Luckily my rota seats me in a S92 so I can kind of rest assured, but there is always the risk of these choppers being overworked due to the shortage created by this grounding. The one thing I know is that if they start any of the 225s and L2s flying again in the future, anyone who doesn't refuse to fly wants their heads looking at! Worrying times, but I'll still be at the heliport for my next trip. S92 or S76 only though please!
  17. Car is vile and the tide wouldn't take her out!
  18. Nice knob. Did she handle it for you to make up for the wheels? Ha! Nah she's taking the car to TWS on Saturday to make up for the wheels. The knob fittage was just her following orders....
  19. So this beauty arrived yesterday.... .....and was fitted by the missus this morning! Just gotta wait a week to see how good this knob feels! :o
