  1. Ha! The sound is a thing of beauty! Just have to get yours kitted out now marra.... Thinking of trying to get the ball rolling on a Wednesday night meet when I'm back next, maybe up the Metro Centre way as there is an American Muscle meet every Wednesday up there. Could make for an interesting Pearl Harbour style invasion once a month if we can get numbers! I'll start a thread this afternoon. Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4
  2. Certainly are! Can't wait to get home and tear the old pieces of @*!# up that were on originally before I fit them.
  3. Next to do in a fortnight will be these badboys, 245/35 R19 and 275/35 R19. Keeping the car looking fresh and stuck to the road!
  4. It's only loud when the arse gets kicked off it, so no it's nowhere near as loud. In fact as my mother quoted "oh yes, it's a much softer sound than the last one" so it gets the seal of approval! Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4
  5. I could take the original grill off and spray it black but I would rather just order one whilst I'm away and fit it when I'm home next. Plus I get a nice little zunsport badge on the grill. But seeing as you guys have killed the joy I guess I'm removing it and spraying it..... Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4
  6. Alreet! Had a search but couldn't find an answer to my question. Will the standard fit Zunsport grills fit the Nismo V1 front bumper or will I need to do some butchering? Cheers Phil Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4
  7. Cheers! I had a good head start with the Nismo kit (genuine) already fitted and the wheels, I've just had to set about putting my own stamp on it. Hopefully next month will see the front bumper repaired and headlight squirters smoothed over. I am toying with the idea of respraying her but I'll have to see how much dough I make this time away. 8. Alreet! So it's been 3 1/2 months since obtaining the blue meanie and after reading through a good few projects I thought I'd have a go at my own build thread. This is how she looked originally: She came with a Cobra Sports exhaust that most of you will be aware of my hatred for it, so it was only natural that I was going to change it at some point. But there were one or two things that I needed to do first just to get me into the swing of things. The wheels were my priority as they had been scuffed and were corroded to bits, I set about getting them booked in. In the meantime I did this..... And this.... So then it came to the moment for the wheels. They were done at the Wheel Specialist and I chose a satin anthracite finish.... ....which I am extremely happy with! I then decided that the centre console was in dire need of refreshment so I stripped that out and gave it a new lease of life.... ....which I like but I can see me doing another colour next time I'm home (the missus paints her nails so why shouldn't I paint my interior?) So then an opportunity came up for me to do the much needed exhaust change. Adrian (octet) was stripping his supercharged monster down to fund his 370z purchase. For those of you that don't know Adrian, he was the owner of a batshizit crazy supercharged mint green (turquoise) 350z with one of the only Amuse R1 Titanium exhaust systems in the country. Seeing as these are rare as rocking horse cack I had to have it. So after a week or so, and then a few days more getting a couple of splits rewelded, the exhaust was in and I was ready to unlease the fury Mitch! It also came with a Motordyne resonated XYZ pipe which adds to the quietness down low but adds a little extra something when kicking the arse off it. I will upload some videos of how it sounds soon, just haven't had anyone around to film it (the missus point blank refuses to be involved in something "so sad" So a month went by with no real progress and then I decided to change the air filter for a Cosworth one.... Then I ordered a 3/4 plate for the front and a new back plate (check out the decal at the bottom!) So up until now that is where we are at with OV53. Not as far as I would like her to be but only getting 2 weeks at home I have only really had under 2 months to get this work done whilst also renovating the front end of my house. So to finish off a couple of photos of the car prepped before Trax last weekend (about 15 minutes before the heavens opened) Thanks for looking guys! Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4

  12. Yeah my paintwork is needing doing too. Where are you based? I may be meeting up with a different club tomorrow night. It won't be zeds but it'd be cool to not be the only zed there. Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4
  13. Thank you very much! When did you buy yours? I remember you talking about coming to scope them out at the mini meet. Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4

  21. Spotted on the M1 on our way back from Trax for a few miles before I peeled off onto the A1 junction. Had a chuckle opening the throttle and letting the Amuse sing for you, whoever you are!
  22. Could you send me the same picture please? Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4
  23. Don't think so, but they look nice. I think the cops have got to be having a ridiculously boring day to pull you for having them. Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4 I've found that 3/4 plates are the type of illegal for when you've p*d off the police officer and they're wanting to really inconvenience you. I ran a 3/4 plate for a good year or so and got pulled for speeding with it on and didn't get anything. It depends mostly on 2 things, your attitude and your attitude towards any of the police you meet. Yeah my thoughts exactly! Sent from my GT-N7105 using Tapatalk 4
