  1. Welcome to the forum. Glad to have you aboard.
  2. Hi All, Got a question about the brake calipers on my 370Z Nismo. I would like to get the brake calipers touched up. I've seen a few threads on here saying that you can remove them and send them off for repainting. But could a local bodyshop also do the job? The only reason I'm asking is that my zed is going in for a front and rear panel respray and I just thought that maybe they could touch up the calipers while they have the car. Thanks.
  3. I've had resprays done on other cars before and every bodyshop I have used has always advised doing the whole panel rather than trying to do just a specific area.
  4. Yeah, the ones I got fitted perfectly.
  5. Here is the link as requested: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Luxury-Car-Floor-Mats-fit-Nissan-370Z-Z34-NismO-Right-Hand-Drive/113166760623?fits=Model%3A370Z|Submodel%3ANismo&hash=item1a5943baaf:g:jLgAAOSwiqJbb87F
  6. Just to update everyone, my car is booked in to get the front panel and rear panel resprayed next Friday, the 24th August. Have bought a whole new set of badges which I will put on when I get the car back, which should be the following Tuesday/Wednesday.
  7. Even when I had my 350Z, a lot of forum members warned me about getting work done at a dealership and the fact that you pay through the nose for parts. Although having recently dealt with a dealer to replace a damaged bit of trim on my 370Z, I was pleasantly surprised. The trim piece cost me just over £80.00, which included VAT and the service I received was excellent. For things like replacing trim or other Nissan specific items, I'm quite happy to use a dealer. As for servicing though, I'm going to stick with my usual mechanic. He's only 10/15 minutes away from where I live and he does provide a courtesy car which is really handy. I've also been using him for 10 years now. So as the saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Parts wise, most changes on my 350Z involved replacing a Nissan Part with an Aftermarket Part, so a Nissan Dealer wasn't really required. Lol. Just as well really, otherwise the Cougar Store and Tarmac Sportz would have lost out on business.
  8. Thanks for the feedback guys. I don't really have any specialists in my area so it would be tricky anyway. My usual mechanic has never let me down and as I said previously, he used to service my 350Z. He also fitted all the mods that I wasn't able to fit myself, so I think I'm in good hands. Plus I've got a fair idea what he will charge and I know I won't get ripped off. LOL.
  9. Hi All, Haven't had my 370Z Nismo long and it's due a service in September. Been reading some threads on here in relation to servicing and a few mention taking it to a Nismo Specialist. I was going to take it to my usual mechanic who did the servicing on my 350Z GT4 when I had it, but am now wondering if I should be taking it to a specialist as the threads I read mentioned. Can someone advise as I was going to get it booked in soon? Thanks. P.S. If a specialist is required, any recommendations for garages near me would be appreciated. I'm in Somerset.
  10. Personally I am well pleased with the mats, even if they were a bit pricey. Each to their own I guess.
  11. These were cheap compared to some I saw online. Check this link out: https://www.torqen.uk/nissan/370z/body-styling/interior/1911-370z-nismo-mats-6mt-g4900-1ek11.html?search_query=car+mats&results=7
  12. The mats cost me $139.00 (£110.00 approx). I got them on Ebay.com.
  13. Just has these mats delivered today. Am well chuffed with them.
  14. I did think about refitting the old badges, but with past experience they can sometimes be difficult to remove and can wind up getting scratched or damaged. I've got a full set of new badges on order anyway.
  15. I do like the badges and will probably put new ones on. Was wondering what everyone else thought really.
  16. Hi All, My 370Z Nismo is booked in at a local bodyshop to respray the front bumper and back bumper. I've got some new Z centre badges that will be put on after the respray, but was wondering about the rear "370Z" and "Nismo" badges. These will obviously be removed to do the respray, but was wondering whether to bother refitting new ones after. What do you guys think? Re-Badge or not re-badge?
  17. Thanks Shezza, I'm going to get some quotes to get the front resprayed. I have a feeling they will have to spray the entire bumper, but there are some stone chips, etc, so I'll kill two birds with one stone.
  18. Hi All, I purchased some Z badges a few days ago and they arrived today. Went out this evening to fit them and first had to remove the old ones. I used a heat gun, being careful not to get to close and all went well with the rear badge. However on doing the front badge exactly the same way, some of the paint work came away with the adhesive! I ended up with an area about 4cm x 3cm with no paint on it. It's not as if it's hidden either as the new badges don't have a solid back so the damage can be seen through the gaps. Plus some of the damage is right near the edge of the badge recess as well. Beginning to wish I left the Nissan badges on now. I'm thinking a respray might be required to sort it out, but was wondering if just the badge recess and a small area around it could be done or would the entire panel need respraying? Your thoughts and advise would be appreciated.
  19. Thanks for the feedback. I haven't really had a good look at my new zed as yet, so I will check it out to see if there is a number somewhere.
  20. Hi All, Bought some printed t-shirts that arrive today. Check out the image below.
  21. Hi All, I've spotted a couple of posts where people have quoted a number in relation to their 370Z Nismo. I remember there was a plaque on my 350Z GT4 which said which number it was. Where can I find the number of my 2015 370Z Nismo (if there is one)?
