Hi all, I'm sure I saw a post on this, but can't seem to find it, so apologies for asking again. Can someone tell me what the issues are when putting larger alloys on the zed with lower profile tyres? I'm currently running stock 18" wheels on my GT4, but was thinking of going to 19's with a lower profile tyre. I know this can have an affect on the TCS, etc so just want a reminder of the do's and don'ts. Thanks.

Hi all, Have just been looking at images of zed engine bays and how owners have dressed them and am really keen to do the same myself. Couple of questions though. Would appreciate some feedback. 1. I own a Ultra Yellow GT4, so the obvious choice would be to use yellow as a primary colour in the engine bay for things like the battery/brake fluid covers, engine cover, etc. Currently I have yellow hoses and the engine cover, strut brace and brake fluid/battery covers are carbon fibre so it's a bit hit and miss at the mo. Trying to figure out where to start really, so any suggestions or other ideas would be great. 2. On some of the images I have seen, I have noticed that some owners have also changed the caps for the coolant, power steering, etc, to ones that match the rest of the engine bay. Have they simply customised the existing caps or can you actually buy aftermarket ones. If so, where can I buy these? Thanks.

That looks like a pretty heavy impact. Good to hear that you and your partner are okay though.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. The job title is network administrator. The current IT guy at the company I'm going to work for is leaving at the end of June and I will be taking over from him. I am already starting to plan what to do with my zed next. One thing I definitely want to do is get the wheels refurbished. Second to that will be getting some of the interior hydro dipped. I've already had the centre console done, but also want to do the door switch panels and door handle. Out of interest, has anyone ever had the external B-Pillars dipped? I know I could wrap them, but if I'm going to get the interior parts dipped, might be worth getting them done at the same time.

Hi Guys, Having been unemployed since last November, I feared that the days were numbered for my Zed and that my modding days were over. Despair not though, for I have now secured myself a new job and start next monday. Only one thing I can say to follow that. YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Ah, I see. Is there a way of avoiding the fuel switching problem or at least lessening the effect? I will admit I don't drive my zed with a heavy foot and am wondering if perhaps a slight change to my driving style might help.

Yeah it's a slight jerk, but it does it a few times. The only way I can really describe it is that it's like the car is braking without me actually touching the brakes. It slows down and then suddenly pulls again. I have a DE if that helps.

Hi Guys, Just want to run this query past you and see what you think. I was out in my Zed earlier and was going down a hill. It had a 30mph speed limit, so I slowed down and put the car into 3rd. I then just lightly applied the accelerator to keep the momentum going, however I started feeling some hesitation from the engine. I was doing on or just under 30mph. The thing is, I've had this a few times when driving downhill. Sometimes I only drop down to 4th but I still get the problem. It's really starting to bug me, but the thing is, I don't know if it's necessarily the car. Could it be my driving style? I just don't know. What do you guys think?

The problem is, it's a double edged sword. Yes, because I would have really liked a 370 but couldn't afford it, I should have voted for the 370. But then all I'm going on are pictures of them I have seen online. I've never sat in or driven one so can I really make an informed choice when my experience with both cars is entirely imbalanced?

As Wayne370Z said, it's probably 350 owners voting for the 350 and 370 voting for the 370. As I mentioned I have a 350, which is what I voted for. Why did I go for a 350? Simple, just don't have the budget for a 370. If I had that kind of money, then I may well of gone for the 370 and voted for it too. I never dreamed in a million years that I'd ever own a car like the 350, so personally for me, it's the best car ever.

I've just been looking at images of the two side by side. I have a 350 and that is what I voted for. Don't get me wrong I certainly wouldn't say no to a 370 they do look great, but when you look at it side on, it does have a more angular quality than a 350. There is a kind of harshness to it, if that makes sense. The 350 is more rounded and sleeker in my opinion.

Sorry to hear about your zed. I'm not local to Birmingham, but will certainly keep my eyes peeled in my area just in case.

Hi Guys, Was wondering if someone could help me with a query. I have an OBD2 adapter and use the DataScan 2 software however, one thing I am struggling with is interpreting what the software is showing me. I see all these numbers and graphs but I have no reference, so don't know whether what I am looking at is good, bad or normal. It's a great piece of software, but I want to learn more about what information is being displayed so I can better understand it. I've downloaded the User Manual for the software, but all that really does is explain what each function does. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Hi All, I currently have an aftermarket induction kit on my zed but it's showing it's age and I want to replace it. I've seen kits for sale on Ebay, but wanted to ask you guys first if you can recommend a kit and supplier. Thanks.

Just wondering how easy it is to take off and reattached the Z badges on the side of the zed. Mine have a bit of wear and I want to refurbish them.
