  2. It's known as 'Elephant racing'
  3. This evening 5.30ish Northwich Rd, I flashed and waved Other owner looked at me like I was a nutter - Fair call
  4. Northbound on Manchester Rd, in traffic, even got a wave - makes a change round here
  5. Old VW Beetle going over Transfinnyd in North Wales in mid-winter with a load of windsurfers on top in the pi55ing rain when the wiper motor went, we took one of the roof rack straps off and manipulated it around the wipers and through the 'A' windows and managed to pull them back and too enough to make it safely home, with the load on the roof still!!
  6. At a garage at the south end around 18.30 - You were actually working on it I think
  7. Pair of mole grips onto the hose might work, that's really the only way. You always have to bleed after removing the line.
  8. What a great show, I'm enjoying it way more than I thought I was gonna, you can keep your Springwatch and Countrywatch boring rubbish, let's have more like this. Oh and Stargazing from Joderal Bank, that's good TV in my book
  9. I think you will find that UPRev is pretty much jailbreaking the ECU, they are not under license from Nissan
  10. If that's Chorley Lancs, then TDI North, Warrington way have a good rep Edit: Grinspeed at Blackpool have a good rep too!!!
  11. Blue as I was on my way in, near the Vegetarian Society and Silver further down near the Shell garage on my way out. Both looking very clean, well cleaner than mine which is covered in Bee poo as usual I kinda waved but couldn't see if you returned the gesture
  12. Like they all said ^ up there, yes, it's not a difficult job, I did all mine on my own on my driveway with axle stands and basic tools. Some of the bolts are a bit errr 'tight' to say the least but do come off eventually using basic leverage methods. I could do it in a day's work I reckon and I'm dead slow. Most of the time was taken jacking and wheel removing/replacing.
  13. Just go to any local tyre place, they will have a locking wheeel nut extractor tool and have it off in a second for you. I just called in on one to see and the guy did it in literally 5 seconds, I gave him a fiver, he wasn't gonna even charge for it!! The removed nut will be useless, but they are pretty much next to useless anyway when you see how easy they are to remove!!
  14. Oh dear, you poor Coupe owners us 'vert guys have the aural symphony on tap (granted it's better still in tunnels and enclosed spaces ).
  15. The 4 middle bolts on the W brace shouldn't be a problem, it's the outer ones you have to be really careful with. Make sure you have pre-lubed them with WD40 or similar
  16. That's sounds weird to me. In my experience, when the EML comes on then it stays on until you physically clear it. You could do with reading any codes that are stored in there.
  17. Anyone who attempts to compare the Zed to a GT2 is a complete knobsock The only real similarity is that they are both motor vehicles
  18. I was going to mention that a farmer might not be the best person at judging speeds, but noted his name
  19. I struggle to get 13mpg daily driving, DE 'vert, but am always amazed at the 'touring' mpg which more than doubles and sometimes even trebles, even when being thrashed
  20. = The repairs would've been covered by increases in all our insurance premiums to cover the insurance companies vast profits.
  21. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-MITSUBISHI-PAJERO-EVOLUTION-/281903376277 From the same seller OMG I do like these
  22. ^ This, or a much reduced goods valuation on the customs declaration. But then no moaning about UK government service cuts
  23. I don't know why I was expecting to see this post in 'Group Buys' :teeth:
