  1. £40 sounds like a decent price, I'm considering doing my own after watching this: - what could possibly go wrong? Just need to see if I can reach the top nuts with my assorted gathering of extensions I have some ramps and axle stands just waiting for a gap in the weather.
  2. My personal view is as the others, for most pix these days the camera on your mobile phone is adequate for the job, especially if you have a smart phone - which lets face it most of us have. I'd be looking for something that does a job over and above what the phone cam is capable of. I had similar to one of these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fujifilm-FinePix-S2950-Digital-Camera/dp/B004G8Q600/ref=sr_1_8?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1400669361&sr=1-8&keywords=bridge+camera which is an awesome thing, especially for that kind of money. - And, it IS pretty much point and shoot, I am fond of my pix but by no means a photographer but this turned out great pix no problem. I upgraded to the 'Nikon' top of their range bridge camera and was sadly disappointed because for all that extra money I was actually getting less quality pix!!

  5. At the A50 lights, I gave you a pip on the horn - yr GF looked like 'WTF' I was/am GM Roadster, enjoying the sun
  6. Opposite the Angel on 'bottom' street, Red? ish, looked like a custom colour - silvered roll hoops - looked amazing, I was the gunmetal roadster who said hi - Rick B
  7. Hey, I for one don't mind waiting a little longer if it is inconvenient for you. I certainly wouldn't want you to have to spoil your jollies for the sake of a week or so in delivery time!!
  8. Only done 10-15 miles and didn't zero the gauge but it's already up to 17.2 from the usual 16.3 - so it's deffo making a difference!!
  9. Not you, it was a 350, I was in my Roadster in front with the roof down, they couldn't have missed my wave! Obviously not on here
  10. Wil370z, there's a difference between proper mould and just the green tinge from parking under trees. Mould is kind of growing inside the material and is really bad for it in the long run leading to rot, holes and leaks etc and unless you kill it (it's a micro-organism) it returns quite quickly. The green tinge from trees will usually just wash off with warm water and is like a surface thing that only occurs because of the stuff that drops onto it. I don't think the stuff I used would do any damage to your roof if you used it, it is after all quite a mild anti-bacterial soap and as long as you use a decent waterproofer afterwards then it should be OK.
  11. I have 20mm all round on mine, if you fancy a swap of a pair for either set gimme a shout - could go a bit more on the back ( I think they are Eibachs been on under a year).
  12. Well guys, another 3 months and still no greenery, looks like it's a proper fix!!!!
  13. Well after reading the benefits of doing this on the US Z site I thought WTF, why not? So I bought some of this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/400636718559?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0 Got my driver set out (T20 Torque), removed the sensor, sprayed it from 6" away a few times. Refitted it and ................................... well WHAT A DIFFERENCE, it didn't even look dirty but WOW, the car feels very different!!! Smoother, more eager, not that it didn't feel OK before but I'm amazed at the difference such an easy thing can make. Just waiting to see if the MPG increases now - will update if so!!

  15. Wouldn't be the first time the DVLA have been known to **** - up would it ??
  16. I thought it was march 06. Some rev ups are lower tax bracket but they're rarer than hens teeth Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk That info was from the Chester DVLA when I first taxed and changed my plate, they made a point of telling me I was lucky by a few days on the registration date.
  17. Mine is on the cusp of the £280 rate, anything registered after July '05 is in the higher bands.
  18. Grey, XX 08 GPY, U.K. GT Parked up near the Virgin vans.
  19. Mine falls into the lower tax bracket by a few days, July 05. £280 p.a..
  20. Silver coupe, I was in the roadster in front of you up to the lights.
  21. Yeah if you're local to me I'll defo take those off your hands (for the money of course )
  22. ^ Yea, took mine a few times too, you don't need to close it all the way just back and to a little on the rocker switch to the point where it is sticking, I personally wouldn't be that worried about burning the motors out, if they go - then they would have been on the way out anyway, they are designed to do millions of operations without burning out! Funny, Pete, I'm just over the border in Cheshire and the OP is near Manchester, maybe it's something in the air?
  23. Mine did this after not being opened for a while, I just worked it back and to on the switch until it eventually went down all the way of its own accord, been OK ever since!
  24. Clock spring sounds possible. Is the warning light flashing? Fairly easy fix and n9t stupidly expensive.
