Used to go to Tattenhall back in the 70's for my rally tyres. I remember it being a small white building in the middle of nowhere, stuffed to the gunnels with wheels, tyres and other lovely stuff.
That was the place, like someone's house in the village centre. Mind you the new place is still in the middle of nowhere LoL
Have to say that Demon Tweeks in Wrexham - when I eventually found it! - was rather underwhelming I was a long time customer of theirs when they were in Tattenhall and that store was wonderful, like an Alladin's cave for petrolheads Been a couple of times now, maybe it's just me but it's only like a large Ripspeed at Halfrauds. Still might be different as a meet point for a gang of Zedders.
Yea I use one all the time no probs
I use one of the ports for this mounted on my screen permanently: http://www.vi-performance.com/
I find it's a great bit of kit.
They will do anything you want, shape, sound, bore, steel, titanium, manifold, Ypipe, mid pipes, rear box, true dual literally anything, they are total experts. Have a look on their website at some of the work they have done, it's amazing
I can also recommend JP exhausts. They made a full system copy of my knackered HKS Superdrager for my FTO which was way better than the HKS £400 and it lasted for something like 15 years until I scrapped the car due to rust issues! Was gonna get them to make a custom for my Zed but happened on a really good deal from Topgear Tuning in Bridport which I can't fault.

There's one of these and there will be another Toyosports one listed tomorrow, just depends how many Zedders want one that week, I got mine for peanuts but I've seen them like today, go for almost the 'buy it now' LoL
Silver 370 around 5pm, I did wave back, but saw you late as I was somewhat distracted by the revenue collector van LoL, Red 350, I was a couple in front - I went into Grove Park, saw you then in my mirror
Mine isn't Japspeed it's Toyosports. Wasn't too short just slotted in as the OEM one, I think that's part of the reason they have 'flexi's' so it's not that much of a hassle if they are not the 'exact' fitment!! The build quality and design seemed pretty good to me and to be fair, at the price I paid for it, if it lasts a few years then it's a total bargain
No problem straight swap, a lot lighter than the OEM too. Fella, I'm just down the A50 in Knutty and I have my old YPipe still - it's OK no holes or @*!# if you need to borrow it for the MOT that's not a big deal!! They really are only a 10 minute swap (on a ramp) - I don't even know why I bothered keeping it LoL
Humm, they do seem cheap in comparison there, I will do a little more research. They always used to be up there with AP and Brembo for performance and quality. I have used Mintex in my cars for many years and they always performed well, more than adequately. maybe they have started making a cheaper less performance oriented product or maybe this supplier works on a 'pile 'em high, sell 'em cheap' principle?
OK, so yea Mintex are now part of a company called the 'TMD Friction Group' and indeed make all sorts of generic OEM straight swap items alongside their proven performance parts. These particular pads will just be a straight swap for the original Nissan or Brembo pads and perform adequately.
That is a legit company with a good reputation. Mintex are at the top end of pads for performance. The discs are MTEC pretty well the biggest UK disc manufacturer, probably as well made as OEM ones. Personally I would have no qualms in purchasing this package for my Zed.

Why don't you take the opportunity to upgrade? Better brakes shouldn't affect your insurance at all.

How about one of these, that's the one I got, they go around £60 usually.
http://www.signdezine.co.uk/vinyl_graphics/index.php I have used these guys several times. Great product, decent price, fast, efficient service, good communication. There's a pic of one of mine in my gallery.
Mine is an '05 Roadster, I wired my own head unit in there. I don't expect the wire colours are any different though. I'll have a look thru my old stuff and see if I can link you to the info I used. Added a link below, the pix are about the same as the ones I took when I did it.
It is deffo green and white. It's in the loom on the right hand side of the boot as you look into it. I have a couple of pix but they don't show it too clearly. I think you have to peel the wrapping off the loom to get to the wires.
Err, I seem to remember the wire was green, or green/white, not orange!! I got my info off one of the guides. I will have a look tomorrow if there's no better reply here by then.
I flashed at you, you were waiting to turn left at the top of the hill and I was in the feeder lane coming over from the other side down the hill before you.
