  1. I'm guessing he only means the plenum guys - Pritchard?
  2. You have to pay import tax on the head unit, but it's only about £20. I think the reversing cam is exempt. The actual fitting job isn't too bad, I'm a complete klutz but I'd give most things a go and if you take your time, read all the guides and be methodical then you will be fine.
  3. You're probably better off using one of these, it just slots in replacing the number plate light, it's really unobtrusive and the wiring is simple to do. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CCD-Rear-View-Camera-for-NISSAN-Versa-Pulsar-Cube-350Z-370Z-GTR-Infiniti-G35-G37-/161500762654?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item259a32121e
  4. The main pic here has an unusual arrangement https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153838528614692&set=gm.10153436141716979&type=1&theater
  5. My ESP button is always disappearing into the void Dunno if it's a common problem but it's deffo not a unique one
  6. Well, if you check out the figures, you get more power earlier in the rev range so you should notice that - Re: the plenum, I noticed a difference almost as soon as I put mine on. The engine was so obviously breathing better.
  7. Thought that looked like Lake Bala, then I saw the windsurfer, I used to go windsurfing there on occasion, lovely spot, the water tasted good too
  8. I'd happily pay decent money for those kinds of gains I'd have said that's a fair result given the age of it. Like they said though, please give us a list of your mods and the cost of the dyno tune and the Ecutek as well. (I'm lucky enough to live near TDI north in Warrington just up the road - just not had the time or inclination to get my ass over there yet LoL ).
  9. The black lines on the Ginger Zed, are they supposed to represent one of the Trigams in Japanese taoism? Earth, wind, fire and water! Dunno which one 3 full lines are? https://laurenwoore.files.wordpress.com/2013/06/trigrams.png Yea seems to mean heaven.
  10. There are places on the internet who can make up UK plates for you without any documentation
  11. I agree it is over-rated. Drove some better roads just getting there thanks to Nissan Sat Nav that was obviously calibrated to 'most fun route' rather than 'quickest route'. Must pop over to Wales more often though to 'remind' myself why I bought a 350Z. Have fallen in love with the car all over again. I'm sorry I couldn't attend now - that sounded a top weekend. Maybe next year. Talking of nice roads round there, and you locals will know this one, my fave in the Zed is the A487 then the A499 coming out the back of Caernarfon to Pwlheli when you can really get into the 'groove' of the Zed's GT qualities. Ummmm that's a beautiful piece of tarmac
  12. Looks like my old one - anyone know the Reg No ??
  13. Yea ^ what he said up there on the last pic you can see a little overspray at the bottom. The exhaust looks standard to me, and if it's like the 350Z one then that part gets a bit grotty, the previous owner has probably just tidied it up. Doesn't look too bad like that to me Think yourself lucky it's still red, shows you're not burning oil, my nice shiny titanium one is sooty as f**k
  14. Make sure you have soaked the bolts holding the W brace on with plenty of penetrating fluid for a few days before attempting to remove them. The 4 in the middle are usually ok but the 3 either side can snap off easily! I bought the Ultra Racing one off EBay ( http://www.ebay.co.u...4.m1436.l2649) - not this particular one, there is a cheaper option for the same item somewhere I'm just being lazy It fits perfectly and appears to be better than the OEM part. It's a doddle to replace and looks great ( not that you see it often ). Edit: There's some pix in my gallery
  15. I live in Knutsford. With around 20 eateries in a very small town centre area the choice and quality is fantastic - it has to be or they wouldn't still be trading with that much competition!!
  16. LoL I was gettig confused between dam's, damns, badgers and expecting a beaver

Good luck with the tune. Pix and dyno sheets are always very welcome

    Sad Day

:byebye: I still miss my FTO the screaming, good looking, great handling and wonderful V6 howling banshee who would handle total abuse with ease and weirdly awesome MPG. That is the reason I'm driving a Zed - that V6 the only cars that sound as good are V10, the Porsche Carrera GT and Lexus LFA
  19. but on a lighter note........what do you think the fuel consumption would have been.......? When I drive like that (I mean safely, using high revs and gears) my consumption goes up from day to day mixed town and bypass I think that although yeah it's a bit reckless from an English point of view it's not actually as dangerous as we think. In the USA on an (it looked like 8/9 lane) freeway between junctions vehicles tend to just sit there in their chosen lane at their chosen speed. - Yeah I realise there's always one idiot, luckily this time he was driving the Zed
  20. Fairly standard Wrexham I'd say
  21. Got to say I'm a little reluctant to fit mine I'm still not convinced I like them, they look a little clumsy to me. I do however like the idea of colour coding them, that might work better. I was toying with the idea of getting some of these: http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1436.l2649 and seeing if I could morph them with the others or the OEM reflectors into a working unit for my Zed - could easily run the indicator feed from the ones in the wings. But might be beyond my technical and amateur bodging skillset tho EDIT: Just ordered a rattle can of WV2 we will see if that looks like they will look better.

  23. £20? After the tax and eBay fees they would of made a loss. They are mostly going for £100 Well not really, if the general consensus is right and they are made in the Far East and they brought in thousands of them. You can get things mighty cheaply out there! By the way they were sticking one every week at a 99p start for several years they obviously had a shed load of them. They do appear to be going for a lot more recently, when I got mine the average was around £60, I obviously just landed one in a week when no one else wanted one Still though, £100 isn't that much these days in the scale of things and they're not actually BAD, not good but not BAD. I expect it wont last all that long and when it does go I'm going to ask JP exhausts in Macclesfield to make one similar for me as I'm very happy and pleased with the design, sound, weight and flow dynamics.
