  1. I agree with Alan. I also got a cheap one. Car felt better, even if it doesn't improve power delivery it probably saves wear on the notoriously weak OEM engine mounts.
  2. There was a Black 370 NISMO on bottom St in Knutty early evening, could have been the same one!!
  3. I just used Colgate, did the job, gonna use UV resistant polish to finish the job ............... when it stops raining
  4. I kind of like the result, but, it makes me sad the kind of world we live in
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b061srmt/the-one-show-13072015 at around 7 mins
  6. I have always, pretty much, had coupes over the years and when my V6 FTO died a rusty chassis death I was going to replace it with a Zed coupe. I read the advice here to try a few first to get to know what to look for, then a roadster came up locally. So I thought why not go look at it to get a little experience of the car ....... and came home with it I never thought about, or intended to get a 'vert but it was so freakin' awesome Still love the coupe tho' and miss the hardtop for carrying windsurf gear but I'll get a cheap Golf runabout smoker for that Almost every time/day I'm complimented on what a cool/beautiful/awesome car I have, from allsorts of people, kids, teens, 20's-50's and even OAP's male, female and other
  7. You're new aren't you lol Check out Wasso on here
  8. And be sure to let the Council Wallah know you will be asking him to enforce that rule over the whole area if he wont come to some sort of compromise, he might be reluctant to upset the status quo just to placate one busybody.
  9. There's a legal height limit and distance from and between properties, I'm pretty sure you can Google the answer (I think fences are 2m). Just show that you're within the limit and you'll be OK.
  10. I'd personally have no problem buying that. Looks ok to me.
  11. The light green and white one lol you numpty edit, the other green one in that pic just above the one you used.
  12. Honestly, it's a cinch. I'm dead slow at this kind of thing and it only took a couple of hours and was no trouble to do on the driveway with a trolley jack, breaker bar and a few other simple tools
  13. That unit looks like a newer version of mine. Try pressing the knob bottom right, then on the touch screen the option with the icon that looks like the plugs at the end of the wires from the cam, then with the engine on stick it in reverse and see if it works
  14. Actually I remember someone else having a similar problem and it turned out to be something really simple like the settings on the head unit!!! Might have been Bradders Robinson?
  15. Don't lose faith, it's electronics not voodoo lol, Might be somth as simple as a blown fuse to the amp
  16. Is the head unit working? My fitting and cam install was actually pretty straightforward. Once I'd sussed you need to ground the unit to the car. My cam only works when reverse is engaged and the unit it on AUX setting!
  17. I get so many compliments about mine, almost every time I'm out in it, from all sorts of people of so many different ages - The car, not my ginger barnet
  18. I had the same a couple months ago. Garage sourced a 2nd hand one on ebay for £60. Exactly, my tacit point - If you have checked the underseat connections and the problem persists then this is a likely source of the problem.
  19. Mine does this occasionally too. Usually after a bit of redline acceleration, at the first corner when there's an incline.
  20. Yea - it's called 'the attitude test'
  21. My airbag light was due to a faulty hairspring in the steering wheel
  22. The Scots Pine tree opposite our house released a massive amount of pollen the other day and Caroline started snuffling shortly after. I don't suffer from a pollen allergy but when they are getting the hay in during September I'll be sneezing quite a lot. Pete Yea, Pine trees in the past couple of days.
  23. To add (rather than edit) You can buy pollen cheaply from Amazon: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_6?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=bee+pollen&sprefix=pollen%2Caps%2C158 I expect if you are already suffering then it's probably too late to try this year, but might be a good idea to buy some now and start taking it a few months prior to when you usually start suffering. It's pretty cheap. It works on the same basis as other proper medical ideas that even though it's not the particular pollen that you are allergic to it allows your body and therefore immune system used to having it so that when a type of pollen you are allergic to is ingested than you already have an antibody in your system which is similar enough to fight the reaction to the allergy.
  24. We keep bees and make our own honey. I usually suffer hayfever allergy really badly ( as you other sufferers know - flu-like symptoms, sneezing, runny nose, red eyes and generally feeling s**t and unable to function). I was skeptical (still am a little - I'll get to this in a moment) that the local honey thing worked, until one of the girlfriends of a guy who uses our honey said it had stopped her symptoms! Since last year I have been taking a mixture daily of Polleny (that's pollen that we have harvested from our bees mixed with local honey), Spanish pollen ( They sell it in some supermarkets there VERY cheaply) and some powdered pollen capsules I made from a batch of home harvested pollen that didn't quite work out. So, so for this year I have had nothing! I spend most of my time outside when the weather allows and really, apart from a slightly runny nose occasionally the actual 'allergic reaction' part of the hayfever has not reared its ugly head!! Now, I know that the usual worst time of year for my own brand of allergy is around the time of the Cheshire Show (usually around 20th June) which is the height of the grass pollen period - hence my skepticism. However things are looking pretty good, we did a local market on Sunday and I spoke to loads of people who were buying our products to deal with their already bad allergies.
