Just thought I would share a few of my previous ownership and two year period of Zeditis...
She was a 1990 UK Twin Turbo which I owned about 9 years ago.
This was the in car PC
Blitz boost controller - sad but I loved this!
I painstakingly stripped and recovered the fabric interior - it was only red vinyl but I was very pleased with my work.
Carbon fibre slam panel and stainless boost pipes and water pipes. Painted engine cover and fan shroud although that wasn't finished.
I thought I had more photographs but they could be anywhere now, may search former forum and see what is left there...

I understand it is automatic adjustment too which means there is no room for human adjustment?
-
Another question - is the clutch hydraulic or cable?
-
Not something I am prepared to try then, will have to find trusted garage near to home...
-
Now wondering if the clutch is going as it over revs when accelerating, worse in higher gears...
Is this a job that an amateur could succeed at replacing with the car jacked up on axle stands? I don't have either the Nissan Service manual or the Haynes manual at present so don't know exactly what it entails on this beast.
-
We're did you get it done for that money? I'm being quoted over £600 at the moment...

David Moyes to replace Sir Alex
Very brave man (although probably already very well rewarded financially) as that will be a nigh on impossible task to take on and to achieve anywhere near what has already been achieved. I just can't see how MU will maintain there present form...
-
Inspiring and amusing at the same time.
-
to be honest - I haven't seen a better looking wheel than the oem rays on the 370 anyway
I agree with you. I also feel that these suit the 350z more...
-
I never expected this, would have thought he would have passed away on the sideline one day. I am not a MU fan but he has got to be one of the most successful managers of all time and I doubt anyone will match or better his career in my lifetime.
I also agree that MU may well suffer for this in the short term...

I was going to look at this but would have to have traded in my old car so never went.
It is in Brighton, not a million miles from Reading and a trip to the seaside!

Congratulations and

Welcome Chard - I know your excited state of anticpation!

Cheers guys, not worried about where it bites if that is the norm, I can live with that better than thinking my clutch is on its way out!
-
I was wondering how the bite was on others clutches - i'm guessing I find that the clutch bites at about 3/4 out. Is this too high?

I've not painted an engine cover for a 350Z but I have painted the rectangle strip (I think that was smooth already though) that sat over the plenum in my 300ZX and the engine cover on my MG ZS - this has a slightly dimpled / textured finish
I just used standard aerosol car spray paint on top of an plasticoat primer. IIRC I then rubbed it down after each coat and then topped it with a clear laquer. I had no problems with heat / dirt damaging them either. The only issue I had was on the MG was that under bonnet insulation made contact with it and rubbed.

Just seen and heard one but a.little bit disappointing. Granted it was going at full beans but it have the sound of something like a Ferrari at low revs.
Secondly the Lexus badge on the rear wasn't becoming of a super car. Finally I thought it looked okay on TV but just didn't cut it in the flesh
I assuming it may be down the local Ferrari garage later, may take a closer look...
Where did you see this?
Lyndhurst on an 11 plate

Looks good. As you've had a Z before, you know what you're in for. What was the Z32, NA or TT?
It was a TT

I felt pretty good after completing it but that may have been down to the enclosed space and the adhesive
What isn't so apparent is the twin strand black electrical wire I fitted round the edge of the red vinyl on the door cards.
