I am initially looking at building a desktop style 3-axis machine using extruded aluminium or something will provide some rigidity. The idea at the minute is to build a simple (yet sturdy) machine which can then help me build a more complex machine were I can machine my own parts.
This looks impressive.
I am wanting to mill aluminium and need some advice, as I am led to believe that feed rates and spindle speed is critical to cutting aluminium without destroying the machine due to vibrations.
I've been doing a bit of research on building my own CNC machine. I have concluded my findings and know what to build. Just wondering if any members have had any dealings with CAM software / G-Code or even building a similar project?
Haha. If anybody is local, you should ask for a test drive in the fast and furious Nissan beast Nissan beast. oh did I mention Nissan beast.
P.S. Nissan beast
This is my build thread. I am all booked in to have the supercharger fitted end of July. Not sure if any other roadsters have FI in the UK, so should count to something

I'd go with what makes you happy. Ive recently seen a large amount of mature ladies in flash motors, be different get the Alfa and don't fall into the Nissan Micra / Hyundai i10 trap.
If your car was lucky enough to have the full controls fitted and somebody has fitted a different spec of wheel then yes. Chances are if you don't have them now then the wiring harness for audio controls won't be there.

OP I'd say that is a pretty good price What is the reason for needing one?
Guy at work used to own one and ended up replacing gearbox which I believe cost a pretty penny, but this didn't stop him buying another then had a downsize after a year and bought an rs4, which he regrettable sold.
Edit: he had the v10 version
Sorry to mess you guys about. I am no longer going to sell the supercharger.
I might as well continue with the supercharger project as a long term project. I don't think I could own another car with such a following in terms of friendly (most) people and club support.
