You said at the start your light came on that's means the engine has ran with low oil pressure that's what causes serious damage if you have fixed the sump plug leak and put oil in that's all you can do for now I would drive it easy with no music on for a while and listen out for engine noises hope it's OK bud

Listen to what has already been said. Your gearbox specialist probly only fixes and fits gearboxes don't imagine he knows a thing about the electronic control autoboxs work on if you try this you are in a word of hurt

Think you need to go back to the start of the thread 10 mins is way to long for warm up and it will get longer the colder the weather gets faulty thermostat gets my vote pedal dances will reset ecu this has no effect on the thermostat

Got to agree with GM on this only thing the service guy could have done is not tightning the sump plug or filter if that was the case you would have seen oil on your drive way .l think you should go for a second hand engine. -
