The new MOT system has had a lot of glitches from not being able to do duplicates from the old system date's being wrong test classes wrong and so on don't worry about it.

Struggling to start second round could be a sign that your battery is on the way out the squeal off the belt was probly the strain on the alternator trying to charge the battery.

Track rod end wear happens gradually .you probably wouldn't feel it at the start .when you get it back you should feel the difference.

Yep mirrors heat with rear screen demist on.

Disc skimming for cars is almost done away with i thought as new ones ain't that expensive eny more .

If you have a HR zed this has been mentioned before slave cylinders are troublesome .it's a gearbox out job if it is HR .

Change your setting from new content since last visit to new content in last 24 hour or week that's up to you.

If it's only the heat shield don't bother with new one's. If they start rattling take them off its nearly winter that will stop heat ingress.

Think I would still be a little worried. I've been on this forum for a wee wile now faulty sender units have been mentioned a few times but I don't think ever a faulty gauge. What you gonna do if the light comes on tomorrow and you've checked your oil tonight are you going to ignore it surely not. all I can say is good luck.

It's not just so it looks clean it's to make sure the spacers are bolted to a perfectly flat surface I'd even say get rid of eny corrosion that may be on the wheels too.

Good start being me I'm going to recommend you back to the start with the spacers by the look of pictures you have fitted them over the top of alloy corrosion the white powdery stuff left behind when you take the wheel off . Take them back off and give the disc a good clean medium grade sand paper works a treat.

It wasn't madness just a momentary lapse of reason .you could try an oil change using original Nissan gear oil helps with sticky 2nd gear.
