I did think about polishing, but don't you have to keep the rim really well protected so it doesn't fade? I can't be bothered with that, so figured this was the better option. Polishing might show up the imperfections in the wheel more too? Good point especially if your driving it over the winter.

There is an easy way to make the gaiter look neat. Go to your nearest scrap yard ask them if you can get the plastic ring that's on top of seat the bit that the head rest fit's into Peugeot 206 is a perfect colour match for the gaiter simply fit over the shaft then refit knob .I've done this to mine looks as if it's meant to be there.

Im thinking about doing my rays shadow chrome or something similar you'll put pictures up when fitted that will make me give my self a kick up the arse and get on with doing my wheel. Done it today it's an absolute must .l installed a kenwood double din last week without the buster mod thinking it will be loud enough for me . I noticed last night after a short drive when I changed the disc it was hot my thoughts were its because you have everything at more or less max ie volume bass boost loud switch on. I was a bit quiet at work today so decided to go with the buster mod all I can say is I wish I had done it first time round. Cheers buster

See the thing I think and this is only imo but Amys Zed is a girls car. It's owned by a girl and modded to her tastes. That's not to say it doesn't look great or isn't a good Zed, .....it's just that with the majority of members being men on here that when it comes to a choice of what car they like it's bound to be something more like bizz's with the sheer power of the LS engine or like Neilp's with it's balls in your face awesome styling. yep
