Good luck to all involved with this project. Can't wait to see the finished result
Ian, if you're that excited now, how will you be when you take it for the first drive? :D :D
You lot still at it?
Makes enjoyable reading this. I loved hot rods years ago, but they were of the old variety, sit up and beg, fat tyred, ford pop style.
I guess times move on, and there's always a modern day version
I had a P3 on mine at Cougar Store on Saturday. Miles cheaper than you've been quoted.
Always worth travelling to them as they know these cars so well. I'm an hour away from them.
Everything's possible

Not retaining Cat1 status.
No remote start alarm can be cat1 with I believe the exception of the clifford (edit: not G5. Avant Guard 5.5) but I dont know how they got around it...
Didn't know about that, but Clifford sell the Viper kits.
This thread is nearly 3 years old.
There have been a number of occasions recently of the locking nuts breaking when tightening up after fitting spacers.
Not sure what other members solutions have been though, other than to get rid of them all and get some decent ones.
Don't do it ..... Won't suit the colour and are such a pain to keep clean
Personally I don't think black wheels would suit the dark colour, so for the moment mine are staying silver. Maybe a shadow chrome or a bronze colour one day, but for now they are staying silver.
Yeah I agree, not a fan of the silver. I need to get me some of those Z badges
I did think about getting the black version, but thought I would keep up with my blue and silver theme. Might change it at a later date, we'll see.
cynical much?
But probably very close to the truth
I did read some BS about it being R and D costs of developing more engine and ECO friendly diesel that had caused prices to rise
Cynical? Never
As long as super unleaded keeps dropping in price, I'm happy.
