  1. Offers? They are just collecting dust.
  2. FinishKare Top Kote. Probably the best I've used, much better than the Megs IMO. Anti static, UV protectant, water proof, hydrophobic etc. very durable finish and makes the tyres look brand new.
  3. Meg's Tech Wax is good stuff, I use it regularly to top up my Dodo Juice Supernatural.
  4. As above, it makes life so much easier if the tray is removed. I've got a HR Z, so like you said its difficult to get at with the tray in place.
  5. Black Diamond discs and the matching Predator pads. Replaced my OEMs with these and they are a brilliant step up for relatively little money, perfect for fast road use and they look cool too CS will sort you out.
  6. Oil filter tool from Halfords does the job, but you might not even need it. Mine was on hand tight. An oil change is very easy though, difficult to get wrong. Just make sure you don't over fill or under fill. Just a word of warning, the screws on the under tray on the Z are pants, so I recommend soaking them with a good penetrant spray. Expect a couple to break.
  7. Cleanyourcar.co.uk get most of my business. (Hate to think how much I've spent there!) also this post reminds me I need some more stuff. Cloths and waxing pads etc I usually get from Waxy Shop.

    Wheel nuts

I have some gold D1 Spec nuts for sale if anyone wants them.
  9. I impulse bought these from another member a couple of weeks ago, I fitted them to one of my wheels (OEM Rays) at the weekend and to be honest I don't really like the look of them. They are a bit too bling for my liking and I think they're more suited to a more modified Z or aftermarket wheels. As you can see in the original thread they are genuine nuts and one of them is slightly chewed up (bottom right in my pic). Full set of 20 lightweight nuts. Will sell them for £30 inc delivery.
  10. Or upgrade to one of these
  11. I have eBay LEDs in my side lights, number plate, interior dome and boot light, no problems here

    first 350z

Imports have a speed limiter, I think it's 112mph but speedos are a bit inaccurate so may look higher.
  13. The FRs are good cars. I had a petrol FR before the Z and had it remapped with the Bluefin device that you do at home, very easy to do and gives you an extra 40bhp at stage 1 with no other mods. The diesels are actually more popular due to the large amount of torque and very good mpg return. The Seat forum isn't as good as here though, but the trader Dave at Seres Motors was really helpful with supplying bits and advising. If I had to go sensible, I'd probably go for another Leon. It's a VW Golf in different clothing basically. Go for for a white FR with the Supercopa kit, they look really nice.
  14. Service done. The Z is such a lovely car to work on, everything seems to have been thought about (apart from the crappy plastic undertray and the screws made from cheese - metal undertray from Tarmac is high up on the list of mods) Drives like a new car. Gearbox is silky smooth and the car pulls away much smoother thanks to the new plugs. 54k on those plugs.. Nissan workshop manual says they are good for 105k! Also can't believe how small the oil filter is, it's tiny! Fitted the gold D1 Spec wheel nuts to one of my wheels and they came off straight away I'm not really a fan of the way they look, a bit too bling for me, I think they are much more suited to aftermarket wheels. They will be going back up for sale soon. HEL brake lines not arrived yet so that will probably be next weekend. Modified a spare brake master cylinder cap (thanks ZMANALEX) so I can use my Eezibleed pressure bleeder to make things easier.
  15. For future reference, a proper penetrant spray such as Plus Gas Releasing Fluid is miles better than WD40.
  16. Yeah it's not a Cobra like you say, joins are in a different place.
  17. Good exhaust, good price too! i'd be happy. Unsure about the Y-pipe though.
  18. They do tend to add rasp though which you may or may not like. (not a fan here)

    Wheel wax?

Currently using Rejex, seems to work pretty well but I'm sure there's better out there. Only using it as a sample came with a Waxybox order and I'm going to use it up before either buying a full size bottle of it, or something better, so also interested in this thread. It seems pretty durable though and makes cleaning the wheels a breeze. Don't forget to use a good PH neutral wheel cleaner to stop it stripping the wax/sealant, such as ValetPro Billbury.
  20. Nice one Just realised it was you that commented on the Facebook status about this, posting on the Detailing World forum. You have a mutual friend with me!
  21. It's the replacing the perfectly fine fronts that's the issue. £250 for two rear Toyos vs £650 for a full set of MPSS, I don't have any problem with the Toyos either. That's £400 that can go on something else..
  22. In fact they are the same price as the Toyos thanks to Pnthrblkzs post about Love Tyres... Decisions, decisions.
  23. I have Toyo T1 Sports at the moment all round. I find them very good in the wet and dry and don't have any problems with them. The rears are wearing low and need replacing soon, however the 'upgrade bug' in me wants to replace them with MPSS all round, but obviously it will be 4 more expensive tyres compared to just 2 as different tyres on each axle is a big no no. I'm doing a track day in November so this is also another reason why I think the MPSS would be better suited. The cost difference isn't massive between the T1 Sports and MPSS to be honest.
