  1. I'm thinking about any alignment issues really, wouldn't it be best to fit all suspension mods at the same time then get an alignment done? I'm itching to fit my springs as they've been sat in my garage for weeks, but I'm going to get some ARBs in January and don't want to have an alignment twice. Re the adjustable drop links, I agree Ekona. I do have a slight squeak from cold at the rear which I suspect to be a worn drop link so was looking at changing them anyway, just not sure whether to go for adjustable or OEM.
  2. Is it advisable to fit these with suspension mods? I have some Tein S Tech lowering springs to fit along with Eibach ARBs in the new year and I'm not sure if it would be best to swap the OEM drop links for some adjustable ones whilst I'm there?
  3. They are around £100 for a pair, fronts are usually cheaper. All the traders can sort them out for you.
  4. Nothing better than the excitement of a new car! 8 months later and I still get that excitement every time I get in my Z
  5. Engines are very tough. 65k is nothing on these, providing it's been looked after and serviced properly and regularly.
  6. When are you expecting to have it and what sort of cost? I need to have my alignment done soon.
  7. Save up a couple more grand and go for a HR.

    MPG!

Yeah me, my Z is converted to run on love and kisses and I average about 99mpg.
  9. Hello from Horsham (and East Grinstead)
  10. OMG not another one! Feel sorry for you mate, I'd be devastated if that happened.
  11. PM Clark Motorsport in here Edit - beaten!
  12. Let you out of the petrol station this morning, I was in the work van though. Number plate RX10 xxx, I'm sure I've seen you about the area a few times.
  13. They would have had to at least top it up when changing the lines as you lose a fair amount of fluid and they also need bleeding. They might not have fully flushed new fluid through though. With uprated lines and disks etc go for a decent high boiling point fluid, such as Motul RBF600 or ATE Superblue to get the most out of them.
  14. Got caught just after a 60mph speed camera on the a24 dual carriageway, they were hiding just a bit further down past the camera and clocked me at 75mph. Everyone just slows down for the camera and speeds up again on this stretch of road, I was impressed at how quickly the Z accelerated from 60 to 75 more than anything! Got away with the points and doing one of these speed awareness courses as I'm just on the allowable limit, 1mph more and it would have been points.
  15. Micra! Go Jap for reliability.
  16. I've done 10k miles in 6 months of ownership, I love driving it!
  17. No problems with HELs, they are easy to fit and fit fine. You need to reuse one of the old p-clamps on the front as well as using one of the provided ones as the lines can rub on the tyre if your not careful with your routing.
  18. The handbrake doesn't use the disk faces, it has drum type brakes on the inside of the rear disks.
  19. Haha it's usually full of slammed VAG cars, I'd never let anyone else wash mine!!!
