*** TORQEN *** CTX BATTERY SENSE available now at TORQEN
Jp606 replied to Adrian@TORQEN's topic in TORQEN
Omg so if I'm sitting in my house and i've not driven the Z for a month and the battery is getting a bit low, it will tell me so I can take it for a spin to give it some juice? -
I've done it, only because you have a Z and you have the most attractive girls in your picture compared to the others though
-
This and it will ruin the handling.
-
Where did you get these from?
-
You're meant to fill it in the cap with the bleed valve open until it pushes all the air out the bleed valve and starts to overflow with coolant, otherwise you risk getting an airlock. After that you fill the reservoir up to max. I've only ever used genuine Nissan coolant for the 350Z which is green, so can't comment on whether the pink stuff is ok. I know you're not meant to mix them together though as it turns to jelly and blocks things up.
-
Or just don't tell them, they would never know you've had an UpRev done.
-
Tried Elephant? I'm paying just over £400 at 24.
-
Guarantee it wans't bled properly, the Z has to be bled in a specific order which is different to most other cars. NSR-OSF-OSR-NSF inner nipples, then outer.
-
Yeah it unlocked no problems after I locked it with the wheels off, I just can't seem to get it to lock normally as it should. I guess I just need to turn the steering wheel further to get it to lock, but its almost impossible to turn past a certain point with no power. Not sure if it's normal to have to turn the wheel that far though on the Z as I don't on my other cars.
-
Hi all, I'd always assumed it didn't have one, then when I had my front wheels off today during a service, key wasn't in the ignition and I turned the steering wheel so I could check everything and it locked the steering wheel. When the car was back on the ground with the wheels back on, I can't get it to lock again and it never has before. Any ideas whether this is adjustable or anything? I don"t want to force the steering wheel round too far with the engine off in case I damage something but it seemed I had to turn it quite far when the wheels were off. I don't know how I never picked up on this before as I've done this loads of times with the wheels off, I guess I've always left the keys in the ignition when I've done it.

also HR red lines at 7.5K which means 40mpg in 1st, and don't ask what 3rd redlines at... little technical correction too, its 313 ps not bhp. this confused me when i was learning about the 350 as i some places i'd see 313 bhp and others i'd see 308 bhp. it's actually 313 ps which = 308 bhp. Haha I knew someone was going to say this, what's 5bhp between friends And it's mph not mpg!
-
I love my zed too, owned it for 2 and a half years now and still have a huge grin every time I drive it.
-
Same here, 10 years together now.
-
HR is the 07+ engine, 313bhp and supposedly has 80% newer parts compared to the earlier engines (DE). Easiest way to ID them is the bulge on the bonnet and under the bonnet they have two air intakes rather than the one.
-
You should be able to get a HR for that sort of money, definitely worth the bit extra.
-
Congrats! Have a good one
-
Mine is in the correct section though

Just spotted this in the background on ITVs 'Parking Wars'. MY EYES
