  1. The joys of being a refrigeration engineer with a big bottle of R134A left over from a job ages ago
  2. What about if it knocks when you do brake? I have a front end knock, can't see any wear on the bushes on both sides of mine, and it's not the drop links as they are new Whiteline ones, thinking it's the banana arm ball joint. Can't find play anywhere and nothing came up on a recent mot either.

    Had my Re-Map

I have this on my HR too, map 4 for the highest throttle response is great when giving it some beans. I did accidentally put it into map 5 (valet mode) and plant the throttle this morning which was a shock, luckily no one was around to laugh though as it was early. For me, my car after an UpRev had a very noticeable difference, especially the extra power at the top end and the increased throttle response makes it much better to drive.
  4. Nice, looks like they've done an amazing job of that wrap. You must really struggle with speed bumps, being that low?
  5. Make sure the socket is a thin walled one too or it won't fit in the hole.
  6. 05 Blue roadster, was at the Shell garage near Broadbridge Heath, I doubt it's a member here as I was filling my Z up and they completely blanked me as if I was in a completely different car.. Other was a glimpse of the rear of a GM coupe in the Tesco Express car park near Roffey.
  7. HR doesn't consume any oil, very very little if any, there must be something wrong with it if it does.
  8. I saw this on there a while ago, forgot all about it. Just awful.
  9. Tiddlywinks. It's more interesting than football too.
  10. Oh not bloody football, boooooooring.
  11. Today I learnt the 350Z isn't a fast car.
  12. Must have been someone on here? Had the full waves, beeps etc and a good blast up the dual carriageway, was great fun even though my passenger crapped herself haha.
  13. Look at the SL55 AMG, they're so cheap now
  14. This sounds great, would love to do something like this. Have you got a map of your route?
  15. Nice, Burgess Hill is just up the road from me... Hmmm
  16. White over the railway bridge about 9pm. I'm guessing they aren't a member as they just gave me a blank look when I flashed them.. Also saw a blue 370Z parked up down Barttelot Road.
  17. Are the Whiteline bushes align adjustable like SuperPros? Camber on the upper arm and castor on the compression arms?
  18. For the same price as a full set of bushes (nearly £1k) or a little bit more, I'd spend the money on suspension tweaks, ARBs, lowering/stiffer springs or coilovers and a good alignment. The improvement in handling from those will far exceed bushes, I'd say the bushes are more to compliment other handling tweaks. I believe Jez from H Dev has a set on his car, but I think it was because he tracks it, there is a thread somewhere. I'd only go for front bushes for the upper and lower control arms, compression arms and ARBs if you only want to do them. As for changing them, you need a press to remove and reinsert the new ones (excluding ARBs), so either remove the arms and pay a garage to do them or buy a press.. Also important to get an alignment afterwards. Edit - here http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/48020-superpro-bushes/
  19. Unfortunately for the HR there isn't many choices for DMFs, the OEM is nearly £1k! You can get a much cheaper single mass but they are pretty noisy. Also recommended to change the concentric slave cylinder whilst you are there as it is inside the box and if it was to fail you'd need to box dropped out again. For the sake of £120 i'd get it done. Depending on how you use the car I'd change to a braided clutch line and some good quality clutch fluid (like RBF600)
