Car now sold.
I'll let the new owner introduce himself and his purchase.
A hassle free sale and a lovely guy.
I wish you all the best with the car, I have no doubt you'll enjoy it as much as I have!
-
New year bump. Really would like to buy a house this year so get in touch if you're interested in the car.
Cheers,
Ollie.
-
which car was it
Saw both of these at the M25 services earlier today...it was me who waved from the HR

Sorry folks, was nursing a hangover yesterday and sitting in front of a bright PC screen wasn't really on the cards ha!
I've replied to enduroace1 via PM.
-
Well, had an offer on my house yesterday which we accepted so I'm a little bit closer.
How's it going Dan?
-
Sorry bud, the cars going because we are trying to buy our first house.
-
The worst part is I have the cash in the bank now for it, but need that for solicitors and estate agents!
I liked your post but really I wanted a 'don't like' button!

Great car, very surprised it hasn't sold especially at the price you've got it at right now.
From experience of selling my zed back in June/July 2012, I had 2 people interested, one of which bought the car. It is true what others have said, if someone sees it they will fall in love.
I am in the process of selling my M3 and considering reverting back to a Zed. At 8500 I'd be very interested. The scratch is off-putting and although the Birdseye Nav is pretty rubbish, I'd prefer a car with built in nav. Again, at your price I could let the nav slide!
If I sell my car soon I'd be keen to come and see your zed
Thanks bud. I've had plenty of interest at the current price but only one person has come to see it so far. People keep saying they want to see it but not coming
So all I need now is for Ekona to sell his house or you to sell your M3

I've got some, without tyres, they're the ones that come on the 350z when you don't get Rays, can't remember what they are called. You can have them for free if you can collect from GU14.

Lets not get on Mikes case, it's not the car for him and that's fine
That does mean the car is still available. As Mike pointed out (which isn't yet in the first post) the car has LEDs inside and in the side lights and the rear windows were professionally tinted. Both subtle mods that I had forgotten I had done and both can be reversed if necessary (by me or whoever buys it).
I also have a stubby in my garage that I'll happily include with the car
-
It's also got tinted rear windows
Mike does a lot of driving (20k+ a year) and needs a car 100% stock to keep his premium down.

Yes mate, still available and ready to go. You can come and see it whenever you want, I'll await a PM.
Just shown my friend this thread. He is interested.
Trying to persuade him to come look (Once he see's it surely it will be sold?!).
Will drop you a PM if he is serious.
Thanks mate. I can't see why for the price someone wouldn't take it off my hands straight away. HR, GT pack, & Nismo wheels for 8.5k seems like a good price to me (especially when you look at the prices on autotrader).

Hey bud, I'm based in Farnborough and TGM have always looked after my zed. Its for sale BTW and within your budget

Well I've still had no interest. We buy any cars offer is looking more and more tempting. I'll leave the price at £8500 but it needs to go this side of Christmas and the sooner the better.
-
This weekend only - £8500 takes the car away.
-
Nice example and the car I'm after- I think there are examples for about 1.5k more with no scratch to sort and around 40k less- I think that's your issue.
If you're interested, make me an offer. You might be surprised!
-
Photos of the scratch?
Oh yes sorry. Here you go:
-
If I had the cash, I'd probably have bought this by now.
God damn you house, sell!
Cheers mate. The way it's going, it'll still be here
-
It's probably getting to the wrong time of year to sell now too unfortunately. Keep it! You'll only regret selling it anyway.
I'd love to but we are trying to buy our first house and that's hard enough as it is!
it is only a small thing but this would put me off "Slight scratch on passenger door, could be fixed without respray by someone handy with a polisher"
I would not want to buy a car for 10k and then have to look into having it repaired/polished..... if it's such an easy fix why didn't the owner do it before the sale ? does he not care about the car ? it creates the wrong impression imo
It spoils what is otherwise a well cared for car, there are also no photo's of the scratch
Fair point. There was a picture, I must have removed it when I uploaded the newest photos.
Maybe I should see about getting it fixed, it is the only blemish on the whole car!
Not dissing you're car at all, just trying to give you an insight as to how the ad appears from the other side
I can delete my post if you like
It's the only thing that spoils what appears to be a spot on car
No no, don't worry, if I get interest from a forum member I would rather they knew everything up front! I'll dig out the picture and put it back on the advert anyway.

Thanks, neither can I. It's not like I've been inundated with enquiries either and no one has come to see it. I'm still fairly certain "first to see will buy" as if you are in the market for a perfect example (and not just a cheap zed) then this is it.
For any anyone who has considered the car but not got in contact, could you maybe drop me a PM and let me know what put you off?

First post updated with fresh pictures after a recent wash.

EDIT - I'm no longer looking to swap these.
Now own a Zed and a very Happy Chappy

I didn't cry a bit after you left, honest!
But mum was pleased that it's off her drive
