  1. I reversed once and didn’t hit anything because I am a man and not a woman Although I left my first car (leon) handbrake slightly off, and found it head on with a van down my street

    Droolers

I went into a corner shop for odds and sods, and a boy about 7 came in to ask if the Nissan was mine. I have smooth front and back and the car is probably older than he is gobsmacked he even knew what it was. Was slightly awkward in a queue of people but quite funny
  3. Keep the £65 and just take the boot weight out problem solved with money in the pocket
  4. You looking for the finished article mate ? Sure there is a guy on here selling his SC Zed
  5. ... George, that the car run in now ? none of this slow driving anymore ?
  6. I wouldn't like putting the standard set up IE XX05 XXX on a new car but I very much doubt anyone would think it was a 2006
  7. Going through town centre, so many in lanarkshire but so many not on here
  8. Yeh the damage was pretty bad as well, shame !! Thanks again vicky, i know there was few no shows and gavin traded his zed the week before but it was still a cracken day out and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves even though the weather was shoite
  9. Conclusion ,,,,,,,, buy both
  10. Not like me to jump on anything mate 100% agree, on paper cars are very similar so its up to the driver what suits best but with the last thread the cars where not similar on paper I passed a stand of about 8 GT86s at knockhill and after our debate found it hard holding my sick in my mouth I should have approched the owners and grilled them on there choice of cars but I suspect I might have got a right left
  11. Not a chance of keeping it standard if you stay on the forum mate Everything is so easily available and worth doing ! ! Some pics would be nice ! you might find your exhaust isn't standard
  12. I hate to seem like Im targeting you, but the F20C is a different world from anything fitted to a Civic OE, particularly when mated with the gearbox. Real world, back to back the Zed is generally quicker 95% of the time because of the availability of the torque across the range a lot more than its peak figures. And since when has 0-60 had anything to do with any cars real performance? As plenty of others have said, the driving experience between the two is completely different and thats not something you are going to be able to express with numbers on a bit of paper. ETA: Horst von Shawarma could tell me that himself, I still wouldnt believe it. You miss read me mate, I was meaning the civic felt a lot more urgent and I still get in my mates EP3 and it feels at certain points faster. However its just the power delivery comes as a surge rather than a consistant power. Which in turn gives the driver the feeling he is going faster than he is 0 - 62 doesn't but those details along with all the other ones I gave are pretty important as they tell a large part (not all) of the story of driving it. The Zed generally will win in most situations but I certainly wouldnt write a S2k off and certainly wouldn't be too annoyed if someone gave one to me
  13. +1 from Alex, reasonable price and a worth while mod ! !
  14. I saw this, it was different magazines testing the cars. So wasn't the same driver thus the big difference in times.
  15. I had a civic, and found that the gears where very fast and unlike the linear power delivery of the ZED you get an extra kick at the top end. On paper the S2K has less power (40 less than DE, 60 less the rev up) less torque (60lbs/ft) but does weight a small 285kg less The Zed will get to 62 between 3 and 4 tenths of a second quicker and has a higher top speed as the S2K tops out at 150mph. There is a youtube video of the japs testing the S2K, 350z, R34 GTR, M3 and Boxter (2.7l) was around 8 laps of a track in Japan. R34 was first followed by 350z, M3 (maybe biased not driving as fast ) S2000 and finally Boxter. As said before, very different cars, just depends on the driver.
  16. The Zed is a 100% a fanny magnet, I have come down a street full of girls and watched the drains flood When I am washing it I have woman (I'm 22) with there waynes stopping for a "chat" Maybe in my head some of it but not all
  17. Why is there no 0 - 62 time recorded for the HR ? anyone know what it is ?
  18. The v8's are all about the noise!! that does have a really nice note to it. The weather always is a bit of a gamble up there been a few times with gorgeous sunshine the whole weekend but last year it was like we were at the north pole!!! To be fair, it is pretty high up but Scotland is the key factor for the weather Looking at all the cars in the pits mate I can't help but wonder if you have stocked up in the key component to owning a drift car? Cable ties some of the cars where just a cable tie with wheels
  19. You are taking weight of the car thus increasing the power I really doubt they could void your insurance for an aerial, I mean you can easily say it was on the car when you bought it. Hardly something they could hang you for Worse modifications been carried out oblivious to the insurance companies
  20. Neilp has a Buddy Club, it is very loud but sounds epic !
  21. We weren't sure what V8 it was from but it made some noise ! ! The drifting was good but the weather was absolute shocking black sky with howling winds maybe not worth an 8 hour trip
  22. I think going from a roadster you will notice a difference, as with almost all rag tops they are a bit heavier and a bit less ridged. Also the general look of the HR is much better inside and out and thats from someone with a DE
  23. That back end changes constantly buster this is however my fav ! Fit looks perfect !
  24. Yeh they holes went right through the car i saw it at a glance and thought wow then got close then went mmmmmmm no still it got eyes turning !
