If the clutch isn't slipping or dropping to the floor then there is nothing to worry about just now. There is DEs getting close to 100K on the original clutch

I just removed the rear wiper completely and got a grommet from Halfrauds.

what mileage is on the car?

350z buying advice - is this worth what they're asking?
hensh65 replied to rasco's topic in 350Z General
My car with similar mileage only one year newer 05, with a lot of mods went for less than that. I think the closer to £7K for that one the better. Not that you think of resale values when you buy a car like this as most of the depreciation has been done but when you come to sell you might not get such a favourable price. Nice car though -
I love you picky your to do list is for the painter Can't wait to see it though

That was absolutely horrific this morning! Thats what I would have said if I still had my zed Quattro rules the world!
-
We get a lot of the speed bumps that are across the full road, and taper at all ends. The zed goes over it and almosts beaches itself on them or just tears the crap out of the bottom of the car.

I have about 5 long speed bumps to get by to get to my house. One of the lips I had on the zed was too low to get over on of them so I have to drive all the way round to the back of the estate and come in the bottom end. Pain in the ass but was the only way to avoid them. Also it has ruined the drop links on every car I've had.

Some people are happy and some are not with their map. Some people haven't even managed to get to the standard power after the map due to the car lossing so much power with age. (also assuming it had 280 when new) If you have a place near you who can do it then I would, it was just too much of a nightmare for people in Scotland to get it done with the closest person about 5 hours drive away, otherwise I would have got it done on mine.

First time buyers. There is a market for it. For instance a Car with no MOT, you can't be bothered to do all the little things etc to tidy it up. Someone who then buys it for £5 isn't going to mind putting a little more money into it to tidy it up, get it back on the road etc. And even if they don't, they can scrap it and still make some money yon it. grund honestly your in IT research and come up with a fantastic app lol, The only money in apps is the 'In app purchase bollox apps' and they are basically worse than Hitler! there is a 12 year old with 3 ferraris cause of an app I think I know the wee guy you're talking about. I saw in a few years back, he was part of the Ferrari owners club and was sitting giving reviews on the different ones he owned. Then I read somewhere that it was a pile of crap.. which made me happy

Had a little check to see the stats in auto trader, currently 0 manual 645ci that arent soft tops. Manual is same 0 to 60 as auto which is quoted at 5.6. Big car big shove!

Very nice Dan, think you made the right choice going for this and not the bmw estate. I wanted one of these when i was looking at the 350z but my budget at that time wasnt getting me very much!!! Hope there is mpss all round and not just one wheel

7 days until I'm officially a zed owner

Hopefully your lurking will have uncovered your first order of business. Get a stubby ! Looks a nice example just remember and not stamp on the loud pedal like you would with that punto. I done it and enjoyed a fair few panty changes -
See that 15, although sounds like an exaggeration, I was actaully counting the ones I have seen and I really do think there is about 15 in about a 5ish mile radius. Mabye 14 now my Zed resides in Edinburgh now

I think there is about 15 zeds around our bit, thats Bellshill, motherwell and hamilton. Some amount of zeds for a small area!!
-
Tranquil stays on that road, his is Temper Orange Martin not Sunset. it has a V3 front and CS rear and some random guy holding onto the streeing wheel Irfan is right about Camys misses, you can miss those Rims There is tons of silver zeds about our way, one parks up at Neilps bit and there is another one ine my estate that a girl drives. Lanarkshire should have its on Zed fest.

Driving to work this morning, run straight into a massive traffic jam just outside my house which isn't normal. By the time I got on the motorway I was running late but the motorway was empty. Start pressing on and get up to this van driving 10mph under the speed limit in the fast lane with no one on the inside lane for miles. Given I drive an Audi that means that lane is mine, so in typical Audi style I got close so he knew I was there. Still no movement, so I slowly pull up beside him to give him the WTF you doing in my lane look in your beat up old van. He was already leaning over to show me how long his middle finger is. Which is annoying on its own as he obviously knew I was there but just wanted to be a D!#k. So I plant the foot and pass him and the guy starts flashing his lights repeatedly at me. So I decide I will just lower the window and give him the big number one myself as I disappeared. The karma kicked in when I tried to pull the window back up and heard loud grinding noises and no movement of the window. Yes the window motor packed in on a cold rainey day on the motorway in Scotland. I managed to get it back up but like the 350 the window drops slightly when you open it and fully closes when you close the door. Mines is stuck on the slightly open part. Audi quoting £1100 for the repair saying you need to do both sides. Found tons of info on it as its a big problem with the A5 but its still going to cost me £300+ If I went back in time I would have probably done it again anyways I am sure it would have made the van drivers day if he knew this!

We were all admiring them when you were driving out today
-
My zeded checked too many on that list Dan ya PR!CK Whats up with tinted side windows? I know they aren't legal but I don't think they look bad. I think its worse when the back windows are really dark and the side window is light.

Depends, are you going to be living with this as a daily? If you look at the price of the 370z and go thats fine then thats your answer. There isn't as much parts for the 370 yet so you might be saved from zeditis. half the folk on here with a 350z could have easily had the 370 2 times over with what they end up spending on the car!
-
Yes just make sure you get the right one as there is 2 different arms. I think the one your after is called the compression rod. Best to speak to Clarks motorsport and they will tell you exactly what you need.
-
I would say it could be a bush but the mechanic would have seen that when he done an inspection. It's the banana arm, try going over rough surfaces and then brake. The knocking will no doubt stop. I done the same as you, changed the drop links with no difference.
