*** 350z Nismo Front lip Group buy plus new Lips ***
KosmiK replied to Tarmac@TarmacSportz's topic in Tarmac Sportz
Anyone know whether a boxed Nismo Lip will fit inside a 350z? And can you get away without painting them, if you want it black anyway? Need a replacement since I ruined my CF Nismo Lip. -
Got a free tub of this a few years ago because I work for Autosmart. Just made me think about how rarely I've waxed my car. Think I've only ever used it once or twice. Maybe I should again since mines gunmetal too.
-
I paid 80 quid for the roof wrap and the same for limo tint on the back 3 windows.
-
t's not a 370z so I hope this is allowed, but I got the same thing done at the same place yestersay, plus window tints.
-
Booked in for 11. Roof wrap and limo tint on the back 3 windows.
-
Certainly is. I wouldn't like to admit I've just copied you, but well I have. Alloy wheel refurb on the same day too.

Bit off the original topic but thanks for the recommendation booked in with jack for next Saturday The 24th? Might see you there

reduced sound out put after replacing o/e bose ?
KosmiK replied to buster's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
Just attempted this as my aftermarket HU maxes at 35 and with the window down earlier I could barely hear it. My only problem is that the Yellow and Black connectors don't actually go anywhere, only the Red and White ones plug into my Head Unit. I picked up another adapter from Maplins so I don't have to chop the HU wiring, but do I just cut the Red & White ones, and pair them up with the relevant wires, and ignore the Yellow and Black, or is my Head Unit too crap to even comprehend? -
We were in one of these. Nothing to do with the meet.

Just checked the tread. Cannot believe that was happening just down the road and I didn't know

I thought it may have been Grundy. Comes to something when you recognise a spoiler off the internet. I'm not Brighton based, just down for the weekend for a Stag do. I had literally said only 5 mins before that in the year I've had my car I've only seen 3 other 350z's, and hey-presto 2 more. Cars looked great.

Saw 2 350's in Brighton on Saturday. One orange, looked like a Nismo lip and a big spoiler, the other blue. Wasn't in my 350z, was going the other way in my mates Honda Accord. Anyone here?

As far as I'm aware it's just how textured it looks. 2D is flat, 3D is better and 4D somehow gets time involved. I just picked a random ebayer with decent feedback, classictrading-uk. Can't guarantee its the best place though.

Looking good and a fraction of the price of cf cover pieces, how does this stand up to our weather is it something that would need to be replaced frequently or does it hold up ok No idea yet, only been on 5 days. I'm pretty pessimistic so keep expecting to hear them flapping in the wind as I drive though. But OK so far.

I've used TintFX twice in the past. Can this be done on the same day at a service? I'm due back in July, so why not kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

No issues really. The corners are a bit crap because I'm useless at this sort of thing though. Can't tell unless you're looking closely for it though. http://i93.photobuck...zps256434ac.jpg

I wrapped mine on Tuesday as it happens, used the attached picture as a guide, and used an old credit card to help prise them off.

Bose to Kenwood Single Din Swap – Help Please
KosmiK replied to KosmiK's topic in I.C.E & Electronics
That's great, thanks so much. Didn't think it would cost so much, almost seems worth waiting until I can afford a decent double din. -
I want to swap my standard Bose head unit for a Kenwood Single Din I have lying around from my old car. The problem is it looks far more complicated than my old car, and I’m useless with this sort of thing. I’ve got the Bose head unit out, and the Kenwood head units plugs on the back are completely different, and I’ve got no idea what’s meant to plug into where. Head Unit plugs shown in the attachment. Can anyone tell me which adapters I’ll need to keep the steering wheel controls working, and anything else I’ll need? Single Din & Pocket Facia is about as far as I’ve got. Will I need to do busters mod so it’s not quieter after the swap too? I understand I won’t be able to use Bluetooth with my phone but that doesn't bother me, I just want to be able to plug my phone in, and don’t have the budget for a proper double din install.

Managed to smash my splitter off a kerb when trying to turn around. Anyone know where I can get a replacement, or how much it's likely to cost? I know TarmacSportz sell a plan black one, but how about a Carbon Fibre (looking) one? Or should I just get a plain one and wrap it?

Just rechecked the spare, it's 155/80r17. Which using the calculator gives me 3.82% or 25mm increase over my current wheels. Id only need to use it for less than 20 miles so would this be OK?
-
Hi all, Damaged my wheel on a pothole on the weekend. Still drivable but needs looking at. Got to drop the wheel off on its own and wanted to double check I'll be ok to use my spare. Current front tyres are 245/30r20 and I think the spare is xxx/80r17. Will this be ok to use for a couple of journeys, if I stick to 50? Thanks

I've just taken off some 20 inch Vertini Hennessey's although my car isn't lowered. Unless the back of the wheels have been drilled out you can't get hubcentric spacers on them without fitting a small spacer first. The ET on them is 35 and they're 8.5J. I had the occasional rub, I presumed it was on the arch rather than the suspension and I've just looked at the tyres and can't see any damage. Pete I'm pretty sure they are hubcentric spacers, but I wouldn't know the difference if there are other types. There was what looked like little plastic rings inside the wheel though. Haven't heard anything out of the ordinary, I don't think. Maybe the wear didn't happen on this car/this setup. Time will tell once i get new tyres I suppose.
