  1. Cheers. I've seen a load of 370Z wing mirror covers on ebay but not sure if they are actual fascias that clip in to replace my damaged on or just covers that stick over the top! I don't really want something that sits awkwardly over the top!
  2. Hi all, Hope well. Looks like some yob has knackered my drivers side wing mirror. It works perfectly fine but the plastic fascias have been broken and need replacing. Any idea on where to get them from? Happy to get used ones as can respray myself but struggling at the mo! Pic attached!
  3. Hi guys, Just wondering if any advice on a "2012" 370z brake pads and discs replacement - what is the go to? Best deals?! Thanks, G
  4. Hi guys, Wondered if I could get some general input on these tyres. Have had them on the rears for a number of years but I only do around 3000 miles per year. I recently got a nail in my rear right but when taking it to be repaired, the garage wont do the repair as they are alarmed by the wear on the side of the tyres (both sides). Im far from pleased as they cost a lot and still have 5-6mm tread on them! Has anyone had any issues similar or any advice/ information that could help?
  5. Hi, Ive had a look through the threads but can't seem to find a definitive answer and wondered if I'd missed something or someone knew for sure....has anyone refurbed alloys and got an idea of the standard colour or near as I've just curbed one of my wheels! Thanks
  6. Hi all, hope well. As per title, 2012 370z passed the MOT but had some issues that are going to need to be addressed so could do with some advice on replacements/ deals; - Front tyres - NSF just legal so will need the front pair replaced. Any recommendations? - Oil/ Filter could do with being changed/ replaced as been a while. - Front discs/ Pads worn - Rear pads worn Any advice would be great. Im currently doing about 3000 miles a year at the mo so not looking to spend huge amounts. Thanks, G
  7. Hi there, Wondered if someone could help! I just put my 12 plate 370 auto in for service and asked them to check the car over as seen some marks on the drive and thought it may be the 370. They have confirmed that 2 pipes have corroded hence the leak. They have contacted Nissan to obtain the pipes but apparently Nissan have said that only 1 is available and the other is no longer produced! I wondered if anyone had encountered such a problem or knew about where to source the parts and if an easy in house repair? Cheers
  8. Hi all, hoping someone can help. Have a 2005 convertible and whilst giving its first run of the year with the top down, the drivers side roll bar cover blew off and smashed. I’m trying to get a replacement but can’t see one anywhere. Anyone have any ideas where to look? Photo attached!
  9. Oh great, I’m in Basingstoke so newbury is just 15 mins away! Thanks very much and hello!
  10. Hi, it’s a different subject. My original post was offering another suggestion on how the issue might be fixed. The post you are now in is asking for recommendations of 370z specialists in the Hampshire area.
  11. Hi, My alarm keeps on going off. Been doing it on and off for a while now. I’ve tried deactivating internal/ tilt sensors etc but all the normal actions don’t seem to be working. It’s time to take it to a specialist. Usually, you’d think your local Nissan garage would be best but as they neither pick up the phone or answer emails...looking for other recommendations if possible? Thanks
  12. Hi, it’s not a simple case of leaving the window open as obviously the alarm will pick up on that and you would expect it to go off. With the 370, the windows drop automatically when you open the door. They are then supposed to rise when the door is shut. I suspect my window sometimes isn’t rising as it should so there’s a small gap and air is getting in which then activated the alarm. There are a few suggestions on the issue but this wasn’t listed so thought I’d throw it in there so others can check if they have the same problem.
  13. Thanks, I’ve hopefully remedied my issue but wanted to share the info I had in the hope it could help someone experiencing the same problems.
  14. Hi all, I’m not entirely sure where this should be posted so hopefully can be moved to a more appropriate folder/ section. Having googled and seen that others have encountered this issue, I’m posting in the hope that the information I pass on is if use to someone. Since owning the 370 I’ve had very random and inconsistent alarm issues. The alarm would go off - usually in the middle of the night which I and the neighbours love! I tried looking into all suggestions such as battery power drop, deactivating cabin motion sensor, damp in the car, boot/bonnet latches, insects within the car, shutting air vents, wireless doorbells in the vicinity etc etc but the other night when it went off (and not sure why I didn’t notice this before) found that my drivers side window was down a tiny amount. It was obvious to see that the window hadn’t moved a fraction up when the door was closed (as it should do). This hopefully is the cure to my issue as I’m presuming then that a simple gust of wind was setting it off. As it appears to be an intermittent window mechanism fault, it would explain why the alarm sounding had no regularity. I hope at the very least this gives another option as to someone else’s shared problem so they don’t get further sleepless nights!
  15. Hi, that's part 97210N (972A0-CE400) which is listed at around $132. I presumed it wasn't the correct part due to the hideous price! I may have to adapt the part if its that price!
