Good to know, Didn't realise you were not meant to be able to see the screen of your dashcam whilst driving tbh. (I especially like the mounts that some sell that hang from the bottom of the rear view mirror, basically creating a massive blind spot in your front vision!!) I used adhesive Velcro to attach mine directly behind the rear view mirror then run the cable along the top of the window. Couldn't see it at all unless you really, really looked. Passed the MOT with it on as well.

Well I'm still waiting on official word from the insurance company but the repair centre it was taken to my brother has a friend who works there, the repair bill estimate they did has come in at £27k !! So that a certain write off in my eyes. Bottom of the boot has a massive metre crack in it! Been and seen it today to get my personal things from it, she's in such a sad state! I'll post some more pictures tomorrow of the extensive damage to the rear and front is damaged a lot more than I thought, then again it was wedged under the central reservation! As for the wheels @Easty 3 out of 4 are knackered. The recovery truck put a massive hole in the centre of one to attach a hook to tie it down! Otherwise I'd have had them back as well

Thanks for all your messages. I'm still waiting for the repair centre to get back to me after they pick up the vehicle from auto renovations (who the police called to recover it), so still not 100% sure if they will or will not repair it. Courtesy car was quickly sorted out though, a 2015 Mercedes C220d... Quite nice... It's like driving a boat compared to the Zed though

Thanks Darren, It's my daily commute to Dartford up Hoath Way and A2/M2. Road is a nightmare, pretty much every day there is a crash on it by people not paying attention! I don't think they will repair it either tbh. Garage is picking it up today so should find out later

Thanks for the best wishes gents. I am a little sore this morning but not bad at all considering. That's an impressive repair job Juggalo!! Spoke to insurance this morning, said damage was extensive, rear and side panel, airbags all gone off, front damaged too from central reservation. They still say its repairable! Which is good. Waived my excess as entirely not my fault and have courtesy car whilst its being repaired (one of a similar spec they say..... well that'll be interesting! ha ha ha)

Yeah, very impressed with the Zeds safety and airbags. Would rather not test it again when stationary on the outside lane of a motorway mind! Just have few bruises and such from the airbag, other than that fine. So pretty lucky I think! Police called Auto Renovations to collect the cars (Turns out we all stopped as a Jag had plowed into the back of 2 other cars in front of me, so about 200 yards down the road are another 3 mullered cars!) so its down in Rochester now.

Driving home from Dartford in 4th lane (5pm so usual high volume of traffic) notice cars in front slowing and slowing and slowing down to a stop. So I hit my hazards at around 20mph down to a standstill. Notice the white van behind me still coming pretty damn fast, thinking.... well he isn't going to stop! Clearly not paying attention, "he" swerves into 3rd lane and narrowly misses me. Thank christ for that I think as I then see another car behind said white van come barrelling behind. Now I'm thinking a bright Orange zed with hazards on would be pretty noticeable! 2nd car attempts to swerve (never brakes!!) and crashes into the rear of me sending me into the central reservation!!!! Looks pretty bad to me as in doubt the insurance will repair it. Loved my Zed. Full service history and kept that way taking it to Sly Kaizer, just had my new exhaust fitted and last year blacked 370Z wheels. Low mileage for its age. Now look at it :(

@CS Thanks, bought the Eibach spacers and EBC brake pads of yourselves a few months ago, finally got the spacers on today
-
They were just stripping them back to bare metal and repainting them, so no actual refurb/metal work needed doing so perhaps that was why yours was on the expensive side? They do look pretty dark on the car, I'll give you that Unfortunately I don't have a paint code they used, all I know it was their "new dark anthracite" so new it was written in pen on their colour chart mockup unlike the rest, lol
-
Thanks chaps, I do really like the way they look, much better than the stock Rays I had on previously @Exotic I didn't find them overly pricey tbh, they have done a very good job on them. For the 4 x 19" alloys and 4 x centre caps it was £288 all in.

Had them fitted today at Kaizer Motors (balanced and aligned with spacers ) You may notice that one lug is missing from each wheel, but that's a whole different story I think they look pretty cool with the black badges and all
-
Yeah, the photo is quite dark, makes them look black which they don't in the sunlight, top photo is them in doors and look quite a lot lighter. I'll take a proper photo when they are on the car It's the front ones I think that need spacers to fit over the brembo's (backs don't or might be the other way round :/ ) but I have 20 / 25 Eibach spacers ready to go for front / back respectively to sort that out

Left in car park for 5 mins and come back to this....
