  1. I've just tried DoDo juice Sour Power as I was interested in whether the added gloss made much of a difference. Tbh I couldn't see much more of a shine than when I used Born to be Mild but I do like the apple type smell of the Sour Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. Me too, be nice if there was a discount code to use though so will wait for a reply before I do. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Awww but my delivery of glazes and wax hasn't even come yet Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Cheers mate I'm hoping the splitter will finish of the front end quite nicely once sprayed and fitted and the grill is back on Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. Looks sweet, got a set of these on my to do list, are you leaving them black or painting them ? Nice looking zed btw 👠Leaving them black I like the gloss black against the Gunmetal Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Fitted side steps from Tarmac Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  7. So an update on the work from today: Finally fitted the side steps I had from Tarmac several weeks ago, Easy to fit and I love look of them against the gunmetal Repaired the heat shield which had pulled itself through the nuts so a large washer solved that on each bolt. Then spent a large part of the afternoon modifying a splitter I had from ex cars to fit the front of the zed and have a fit I was happy with. The plan for this is to have it sprayed gloss black when it's in the bodyshop next weekend to match the side steps. Then the Zunsport grill will be refitted and will blend in with the newly wrapped lower part of the bumper Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Was just a question.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Cheers mate, I tried this of course but struggled to get them the correct size Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  10. Anybody got any sites for decent Motorsport retina wallpapers to suit iPad size? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. I've been told Red Mist Tropical is more a sealant than a quick detailer so deffo wouldn't work as a clay lubricant if have thought Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. Stu, try turning the concentration knob to the right (clockwise), on mine this increases the concentration. May be the other way around for you though, just a thought. Thanks for the input mate but I had it on full concentration. I tried the dial in both directions to make sure Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. That's after about 2 minutes I think. I was expecting it to be thicker so maybe I didn't use enough foam fluid and too much water. I'll try more next time Thanks anyway Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Just posted in your members build. I'd say don't put too much water in the bottle with the snow foam. If your bottle holds say 600ml to the brim then use 100ml of snow foam, 400ml of warm water and leave a 100ml gap. When I did mine the other day at one point I turned the concentration up using the dial and it was going on like shaving foam. Didn't want to use my razor on the Zed so weakened the mix ratio a bit using the dial. Cheers dud, it's a 1l bottle so I'll try 200ml next time . Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks buddy, really appreciate it Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah used about an inch in the supplied bottle and then filled to top with water. Maybe more is needed next time then thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Or just use a little less water. I leave a gap at the top of my bottle every time rather than fill it to the brim with water. Zed looks great btw Stu. Thanks yeah I'll try that next time. She is off to the body shop on Friday for some works before Japfest do won't have her for a week :o Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

  18. I agree, I've mentioned it in the detailing thread as to what would increase the thickness? I had the dial on the lance as far negative as it would go as the positive made it thinner and I out an inch worth of fluid in the bottle that came with the lance. Any tips? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  19. So after my pressure washer and some cleaning treats came last week I was itching to try them out today: So started out with a quick blast from the new Nillfisk pressure washer and then a snow foaming using the AD lance and Magifoam. Then washed using the two bucket method and Dodo juices Sour Power shampoo. This was more a test session whilst I wait for my Poorboys glaze and DoDo wax and sealer to arrive this week Anyway some during photos: And when done: Thanks for looking Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  20. Well I tried my Nillfisk out today with the AD lance and magi foam. As a complete first timer I wasn't sure what to expect but I really enjoyed it. I do think I messed up a little as the first bottle I don't think I put enough foam liquid in as this is how it had almost all slid off the car within minutes. So I then tried another bottle and used more fluid and it was better, I had the dial on top of the lance as far to the negative sign as it would go and after 10 minutes there was still quite a lot of foam on the car: Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  21. Great! I was actually right in one of my few guesses of things to check - And I'm glad to hear (no pun intended.. or is there? ) that it was just a loose/broken heatshield.. and nothing that costs any real money. Right on! Thanks for posting the follow up here.. hate when people don't post follow ups, as follow up's really help when searching for potential reasons why your car is doing X.. Think you can handle getting it fitted back in there? Or you just going to pull the shield and leave it off? If you do pull the shield, I'd recommend wrapping sensitive items around it with heat shield wrap.. will work fairly well. I'd probably retap the holes and put in some larger bolts.. Or possibly tig weld it back on.. OR, the easiest for a DIY'er would probably be to drill a large pilot hole, then use a self tapping metal screw/bolt to put it back on , perhaps with some lock-tite. This is one of those things that has about 2 dozen ways you could re-fit it back in there.. Or, leave it off. Good guess from yourself then Well I think my first idea is to take the nuts off and refit the heat shield onto the bolts and then fit the biggest washers I can find and then refit the nuts We will see how it goes. 22. I personally like this part: "His past projects have included...and a dress that becomes see-through when the wearer is aroused." I wish to see this dress!!
  23. Probably a bad idea posting your full name and address up on the internet
  24. You called? Red Mist doesn't work as a drying aid, it's more a fast curing spray sealant and doesn't mix with water. But when using a water based QD then yes it would just be a case of misting over the wet panel and then towel dry. Thanks for the response So the car should be dried and then sprayed with red mist tropical as then buffed off with a microfibre cloth? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
