    de-cats advice

had a look under my Zed at the weekend and my cats look quite rough now with one of the heat shields starting to rattle now I can get some newer cats and do a direct swap or thinking about getting these : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NISSAN-350Z-Z33-3-5L-EXHAUST-DE-CAT-PIPES-DECAT-PIPES-SILENCED-2003-2005-/112062079845?fits=Model%3A350+Z&hash=item1a176ba365:g:RqkAAOSwZVlXjthI am I right in saying that I need to get also these: https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/exhaust/blox-racing-cel-check-engine-light-eliminator-adapter.html to avoid dashboard lights until an uprev/remap? any of you have these type of decats on? thanks
  2. saw it first thing this morning on fb but didn't miss the chance to rewatch it in your post as well
  3. best PM Ewen@Clark Motorsport
  4. if they do spraying as well maybe ask them for a deal ? at the end of the day you are buying also the kit from them
  5. curious what the final cost will be ...so yes keep us updated....depending on costs might worth having a group buy for a better deal
  6. their way of getting your car on the cheap and pay you peanuts for it so they can increase the profit on it...look somewhere else,go private sale,as you probably know the trade in price will always be poor
  7. might worth giving them a call to discuss fitment costs...RT are well known on here as well and they usually do top jobs
  8. sounds good....wish I can come over as well....but only if I get my wheels and finish the car by then
  9. not a convertible,the front bumper wasn't stock...looked like a Nismo V3 or something very similar
  10. Spotted you for the second time on a Saturday around midday
  11. I usually just block their numbers
  12. to add to this as I have the Rocket Bunny diffuser you need to think fitment before purchase depending on what exhaust system you have as the middle section of the diffuser is quite long
  13. I haven't tried this product before mainly because of the scandal with Muscle Farm ,have a read if interested https://blog.priceplow.com/supplement-news/iron-whey-test-reviewed
  14. been using for the past year the All in one from Reflex - One Stop Extreme....one of the best there is out there ...for me at least
  15. steady progress , alternating from 5 to 6 sessions a week(1 intense hour/session)...went from 93 kg to 94 kg in the last month...aiming for 100 kg one day but not the most important thing managed 3 reps today with the 55 kg dumbells on incline bench which is a pb for me (did 2 a week ago) in the run to Christmas and around the holidays I'll be eating all I can see ...LOL keep at it chaps, 45 min to 1 hour a day can be achieved
  16. well done for Nico today ,bet it made a few chaps unhappy here but that was deserved...he handled well the pressure of the last few laps...don't know why but I always seem to favor the underdog
  17. most of the parts to finish this project have now been delivered apart from one of the key parts - the wheels been in contact with Driftworks and I have been told we are looking at getting them in December, but I wont hold my breath especially with the festive season holidays upon us all so I thought I'll just carry on and prepare the car further more till then first been working on the front bumper assembling all bits tigersealing the mesh then trying a different 3m seal tape (still not convinced...) got the tyres in as well Goodyear 325/30/19 rears and 285/35/19 fronts also decided to reposition a bit the rear diffuser for a better fitment ordered myself some kmpf gloss black vinyl with air release and wrapped my roof
  18. great to hear that the responsible has actually come forward .... for pics most of us use Photobucket...dead simple
  19. nice all you need is some tyre shine

    Lip/Lip Kit

Vertex looks like an INGS front lip..... that Tarmac Sportz sells... I have gone for the polyurethane GT Style lip on mine and quite pleased with it
  21. soon I have been told as they are in talks with a UK distributor...would think about £25 a can...as a guess do not confuse the old plasti dip with the high gloss one as you use some different products to get to the end result
  22. don't think Ebay is the best place as you can get some poor quality stuff from there I would look for 3M or Avery Dennison distributors I used MDP supplies in the past for their air release car vinyl (as an option)
