  10. by what you are saying I suspect you will aim to travel to Silverstone on Sunday morning after the wedding closer to the date there will be threads about convoys and meeting points along the route there, so just check the forum few days before the event looks like club entry will start from 7am and I suspect everyone will aim to be there before 9 or 10 when the general public admission starts event lasts until 5.30pm but not everyone will stay there until the end, weather depending
  11. wow now that sounds like a proper gym...wish there was one like this in my town
  12. Hold that thought stevooo have a look at this 350z rocket bunny just up the road in Ireland http://ilovebass.co.uk/article/524/cal-mulligans-rocket-bunny-350z/#photo-0
  13. thanks Bob...I will be honest with you, I was more worried about cutting the rear arches rather then the front ones although the front cut is way bigger and that is because it is easy to get front wings and side steps and refit but difficult to sort the rear arches as it will involve welding
  14. not sure at the moment as I didn't get the chance to measure them good all round the fender but I suspect with a bit of fiddling they will be fine
  15. today I wanted to cut the front wings and see how it lines up with the RB fenders/wings thought I will try and minimise the whole cut as some of the chaps on youtube and see if I can get away with it...but no,just had to cut , cut and cut a little more until the fender will fit once it was in place I have decided to connect the front bumper as well and line them up used a few metal self drills to keep it in place although it is lined up the front bit needs a bit of tidying up so left it for later in the week
  16. Here we go with a few more updates,in between Christmas and New Year plus a cold managed to get the project moving again as mentioned before my run flats were not fit for the wheels so reordered some new tyres, found a good deal on Michelin Pilot Sport Cup for rears and went for it,size 325/30/19 took them to my local tyres centre for fitting and then I got the car up on stands, removed the old wheels and front bumper it will only come down again once it is ready taped and marked where the cuts will be made on rear panels, decided to go for 40mm on both sides plus had to cut the rust out had a fair bit to cut and sort but managed in between to also get a test fit of the rear wheels I have decided after playing around with the welder that my skills are not perfect to do a very tidy job on welding the arches together so I will be using a metallic filler instead happy with the rear arches on so sealing is the next job then moving to the front before I get the front bumper on I had to respray the front crush bar so did it in between working on the rear panels cleaned and did a few coats of grey primmer 1 coat of black gloss 4 coats of black gloss will be doing a few coats of clear lacquer as well to finish it off also got myself a headlight restoration kit more updates and pics to follow soon
  17. some impressive lifts there well done !
  18. surprised if that ends up being true Mike...don't think is worth that much but you never know... I've started cutting mine today...will get a few updates up soon
