  1. nice one Stu,are those the wheels I posted up as an alternative on one of the threads here...they were on ebay at a good price and I thought they look good
  2. Hi, since there wasn't much info I can find on the forum regarding air rides unless I cruise through some of the member builds I thought it might be nice to gather some info/details/pics in a thread what have you got what materials have you used for the boot build setting,etc.... few pics
  3. very nice ,so you do the wrap yourself?
  4. Thanks mate,I have bought the number plate from Ebay...just search for 'adjustable number plate holder' and you have various designs/colours to chose from...downside is most of them are from Asia so you will have to wait a bit for a delivery but on the plus side they are well priced
  5. think is to do with the web program you are using,I am using Google Chrome and no issues but remember having the same problems with Internet Explorer
  6. 1. Andy James 2. 14N 3. Panman 4. buster 5. Valy Been wanting to attend for a few years now and never went so count me in on this one as well Andy
  7. my local garage didn't have one but we took out the pressure sending unit and connected the mechanical gauge and it showed us just under 40psi while with the sending unit on was just at 5 psi...
  8. Ok so regarding my oil pressure problem, did run the car for a bit and pressure when parked was at 5 psi....went after on the ramp and got the mechanical gauge on...pressure at 37 psi...looks like a bloody faulty sensor
  9. Thanks Lee,I got it from Car Audio Security as recommended by Mopedmark and they guys were very helpful.you might also want to try air-lift.co.uk as I saw my 3P system was slightly cheaper with them
  10. don't know how serious the problem is...it might be just a faulty sensor but thought will not take any risk and do the remap another daycar drives well and only stationary and at low speed is when the needle stays down will check the oil pressure this morning with a mechanical gauge and see , if this fails will probably change the oil pump at step two etc.... will get an update here later on
  11. Hi, as per above title I couldn't find much clear info on this so I am asking anyone that knows where to plug the mechanical gauge to check the engine oil pressure. thanks in advance!
  12. Good to meet you too ZeeZee and the guys @ H-dev...hopefully my car will be ready soon for the remap
  13. I like that instead of putting such a wide one at the base better put 2
  14. well I guess ...I should just send my custom wheels back, get a refund, buy some 3 inch spacers and add them to my car cause it is the same right? also if this guy has 80mm spacers at the rear what sort of offset are you thinking Strudul to match this?

    Plenum spacer

I have one on sale that I removed from my DE when I upgraded the upper plenum few months ago: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/110760-part-for-sale/
  16. NO Yes? no cus its a single point bolted to the hub rather than a giant extension bolted to the hub and the bolted to a wheel hence why people run fairly small spacers to reduce the flex/ movement in the spacer higher load on wheel bearings/retaining bolts/steering gear etc. have a google search to find out even more
  17. not really but that is what you do when you don't purchase a proper set of wide wheels i get it im in a similar position £200 on spacers or £1000+ on wheels but ill be going for wheels of a fair witdth about 10/10.5j with a heffty offset and the using spacers to make up the diffrence should work i need 40mm tops. you gotta wonder if hes spent "2k" on audio why he hasnt splashed on wheels too he might want £15k but that 'Good Luck' he wrote at the end of the advert should be for him...I sold my veilside 350z about 2 and a half years ago for just under £7k and 1) it looked better then this one for me and 2) I had better mods then him...so yeah I would say he is day dreaming
  18. not really but that is what you do when you don't purchase a proper set of wide wheels
  19. Yeah.... share it here so we can all have a laugh as well (just kidding )
  20. I haven't got a set for sale..sorry for any confusion created...I said that with a new set from ebay you will also have to spend with fitting and spraying (Mike pm'd me already but this was regarding something else)
  21. well it all depends on what each one wants from this life...some chose to share it with someone others don't pros and cons in both
