  1. for me nothing beats indian takeaway ...absolutely love the peshwari nan with any of the dishes plus I usually go for mild ones Win Win
  2. yup, this is where I drew some inspiration: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/112302-this-is-awesomeimo/page__hl__%2Brocket+%2Bbunny but there will be a few twists,so hopefully unique in a way
  3. I think it will look good, and there is no way back now as I already started the job as you have seen in the above post ...just 1 guy in America I saw that did this to his car and it looks great to be honest, think (Bob)Buster shared a few pics here of his car there will be quite a few Rocket Bunny Zeds by show season in UK and I want something a bit different...plus I also didn't like the way the front fenders were flowing with the car lines once they were on,hence my decision...but this just means a lot more work for me with all the bloody filling and sanding I already hate doing this
  4. just took insurance with Adrian Flux today for the first time for my modified Zed as the price, like for like cover and extras is what I needed updated for my car.happy with the overall price as well so would recommend for anyone with mods
  5. although I will be blending in most of it , there will still be parts left with fixings...I think if you use the right materials there is no reason for it to crack over time
  6. spent most of today working on the car and I had to change the 18mm OSB for 11mm plywood and redo the boot build for air, after that I have bolted the compressor and the tank, downside is I just realised I am missing a few fittings from the box so I'll have to speak to the company that sold me the kit for them next, after debating for a few weeks now ,I have decided to give the Zed a twist and blend in parts of the rocket bunny kit couple of pics below, although it might be difficult, because of the colours, to see the lines I have followed
  7. crazy weather to risk taking your beloved Zed on track, near miss 16.38

Thats how you do it properly ^ Which I imagine would cost about the same as a DE 350z circa £4000 as those size wheels would be custom built and not on anyones shelf If you want to do it on a budget then there are options but you will need huge spacers yup, waited 5 months for mine to be built in Japan and shipped over here, got the price right as well as you have to think about the tyres and they don't come cheap in those sizes thought about this Mike...waiting though to fit my air suspension first and then see how it fits

13.5j rears is perfect on mine and I have gone 12j fronts which is a little bit out.will think 10.5j/11j will be ideal for fronts around -15/-20 offset
  10. glad you decided to keep it for a bit longer Rich, yours is one of the cleanest Zeds I have seen
  11. if you are planning to keep your front bumper stock then go for a respray if you think there might be a lip out there that floats your boat it may well worth getting one before the respray, check on tarmacsportz my Zed was ginger and I had the Zunsport added on and a GT style front lip in black gloss which at the time I thought it looked good
  12. things are still moving with my project although a bit slower than I would like as I don't have as much time as I need next to do was to sort the oil pressure this is how bad it was after 30 min driving then I ordered this oil pressure sender from China for only a tenner ,downside being I had to wait for delivery for like 2 weeks but on the plus side I saw this on sale in the UK 8 times more expensive so worth the wait and this is after fitting and 15 min drive pleased with it next thing was the AirLift suspension install and after a bit of advice from Dean.B (thanks) I have decided to have a go at it myself nothing like a full learning curve so got my order of black acoustic carpet and glue spray in and started the boot build

  18. Aye, Rust-Oleum Rubberised Peel Coat. Did look at newer stuff like Autodip, but didn't seem to be available in the UK. Nobody suggested anything else when i asked. Never heard of Ngenco before... looks good though. However, it recommends twice as many coats as Rust-Oleum / PlastiDip (8-10 rather than 4-5), so I'm assuming you'd have to buy twice as many cans? I got 6 cans for £25, Ngenco would require 12 cans at £106 (assuming the above is correct), which is more than 4x the price. Even if you only needed 6 cans it'd be double (£59). Of course, you get what you pay for, and I may consider it if / when I come round to redoing it or for my roof instead of a wrap. Yes,Autodip looks great and will hopefully be available in UK this year,at least this is what I have been told when I asked them about supplying here,Autoflex should be just as good although yes it might be a bit pricey
  19. I suspect that is just one of the old design dips, if you want to try something better check Ngenco and their product range, you can get gloss finishes that look just like oem paint
  20. Thanks for the input Dean.B,that was exactly what I was aiming to achieve with this thread Hopefully some of the other members that have this can share their set up here as well
