  1. my advice, don't rush it , I know Japfest is very close and as me ,we both want our cars ready but rather then compromising the quality of your build for a stand day is not worth it I am pushing to get mine ready as well but I am 100% sure it will not be fully ready but hey at least I hope the weather will be good and all have a great day plus hopefully by next show may look even better looking very interesting though so far...I am jealous on that kit you got
  2. had Pirelli Pzero on both Zed and my X5 and wasn't impressed what so ever on most of the characteristics ... wouldn't buy them again but that is just my view
  3. thanks, guess I have to wait until I add the rear diffuser and side steps and after preset the heights
  4. nah, just a black dip base to drive around not looking like a rainbow
  5. haha thought someone might mention this ,it is like this only when is lowered @ 25 but I might try some spacers later in the year ... who would have thought this on 13.5j's...
  6. long due an update so pushed hard to get some time and fit the air lift suspension and it is finally installed out with the old suspension and in with the new,I got to admit I got a soft spot for shiny car parts and started at 75 psi and after lowered it to 25psi (guess I have made the right choice in the end to get 12j wheels on the front as it fits like a glove ) excuse the dirty car ,it's been sitting for 10 days in my workshop will treat her to a wash tomorrow and then start the last 2 steps, first continue to blend the kit and after will get the colour on... hope no more delays as Japfest is upon us
  7. what options do I have if I run my air lift suspension through a fuse plug? where is the best/easiest access out of the 3 fuse boxes?also it comes with a 3A fuse rather then 10A...is this right? thanks in advance
  8. nice one,I like the Battle Aero wing...considering in getting one myself at some point during my build
  9. nice one keep it going,Japfest is just around the corner
  10. any update on this? I am just curious how a small company can produce something as good or better for less then what a big company ...let's say Invidia ,as it is quite popular between Zed owners, can do especially running mass production which is always cheaper...
  11. as far as I remember you just unplug the T-piece that is on the underside of the wiper between the nozzles and then they should just slide off, after just follow the pattern of the small pipe while removing itthis might help as well http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/57062-removing-wiper-arms-for-respraying-pg-2-pics/
  12. did mine last summer and they look great ,definitely recommended,as for the nozzles they do come off no problem
  13. now that is what you call a quick 'transaction' by the time I finished reading the post they were gone
  14. have you tried Driftworks?
  15. very busy this time of the year to do anything like this and with a 350z build project still in progress a louvre build on top is just impossible atm....but as I said I will put it on hold and wait , something might come up during the summer
  16. at the moment I am putting this search on hold... unless an original Zakustech comes up... will make up my mind when the show season starts
  17. I am dealing with a guy from a new 350z facebook page...he's making them here in UK...think he is copying the Project Louvre Zed...
  18. Yup,already spoken to him to put me on the list, thanks for the input anyway, much appreciated
  19. Ian as you can see the rear ones are spot on but yes the fronts should have probably been perhaps 11j rather then 12j but I am thinking a bit of camber might change it ,otherwise I will change the lip for a smaller size at some later date (the joys of having 3 piece wheels )
  20. I think it will look good, and there is no way back now as I already started the job as you have seen in the above post ...just 1 guy in America I saw that did this to his car and it looks great to be honest, think (Bob)Buster shared a few pics here of his car there will be quite a few Rocket Bunny Zeds by show season in UK and I want something a bit different...plus I also didn't like the way the front fenders were flowing with the car lines once they were on,hence my decision...but this just means a lot more work for me with all the bloody filling and sanding I already hate doing this There's already a smoothed rocket bunny 350z getting done in Scotland just now so you know. I personally think it does look better than bolt on but it's just going to crack. There's no way getting around it as the two different materials are going to move different so it cracks. yeah just saw that yesterday,a bodyshop in Glasgow or so...well it is expected by now that others are doing various projects but I also feel like it does look better smoothed out had a wide bodykit before and didn't crack for years so don't understand why this time it would but anyway will wait and see
  21. I am still waiting to see your final result
  22. Yeah, I know I'll never get a V8 sound from a V6 (uneven firing pattern / no replacement for displacement ), and I don't want something that sounds fake, but I'd like similar features. What's your V8 btw? hmm....my Motordyne tdx v2 and Art pipes has a deep note that kinda shifts from V6 towards a V8 or at least that is how I find it...
