Fitted New Bumper

Best to practice a few times on odd bits and pieces before doing your parts. Plenty of instruction on You Tube. Start small. Like the flat ash tray lid. I've not rubbed the parts down to remove surface finish, just a light sand and solvent wipe, primer, colour, hydrodrip ( make sue film right way up, rinse with warm water after applied, to remove semi-dissolved cover film, dry), clear coat x 2 or 3 times. Deep scratches you should fill although with the carbon effect they are not that obvious, but a full hyro graphics design might still show them. Don't rush it.....

Needed something that stood out. Black carbon was not showing up very well if at all. Plus very common. Orange A17 used to match the car and gold carbon film. The good thing is that can be changed when you get bored with it. A quick rub down, primer coat, colour you want then re-dip with new design then clear coat. did these in a day without any hassle. Next challenge is center console and gear surround. That's enough. Will post when done.

Did the Japshow this year in my stock 350Z best was 14.72. (cold run) 14.78. then 14.89 (was getting hot by that time). Standard road tyres. Did not remember to turn off traction control so could have done slightly better I think. No expert. For standard stock car 2005 not to bad. Best I did in my 2.5TT Mk3 Supra was 14.32 a few years ago.

Yes Agreed GTR it is. Anyone after this then. Freshly painted so would really do with staying on a ginger! Will put on E bay tomorrow £250.00.

Who Went?

Guess all going to Santa Pod yesterday. Went there myself and did a runs down the strip. A number of 350's there all on mixed stands,. Sure a few of our gyts there (Amy in the show and shire area ) but did not get a chance to talk. Guess would have been enough to do a stand next time? Have to say don't get spotted round this area (Kettering / Northants ) would be good to know how many in this vicinity for a local meet sometime.

Big thanks to the guys today for re-mapping my car (JDM model). Got from 274.6 to 286.6 HP plus eliminated my speed limiter which was not working. My prise from the Wales raffle in May. 50% off. Bloody hot day and wiring to my ECU (speed limiter) was a problem. Fixed it and did the job. Great effort and would recommend to all. Drove a lot better afterwards, quite surprised with results and a lot more responsive.
