  1. Like I said when I removed mine I used fishing line and autoglym tar remover, worked a treat but needed a lot of elbow grease!
  2. I used elbow grease and auto Glym tar remover
  3. Ah were they the ones that aren't solid? I keep well away from anything rip speed haha
  4. The 3mm alloy slip spacers distorted - only marginally but enough to then affect the discs. Tophooker sorted it and advised against their use. I now use 25mm one-piece spacers. Ah okay, that's strange, was it just cheap metal then? How did it end up warping the disc??
  5. They won't be bolted, they are the type with longer studs so the spacer is literally just a 10mm thick bit of metal, with 5 bolt holes in for the studs and a hub centric centre
  6. Well my thinking behind it is I can make them up at work for free! I really can't see a problem with stacking them aslong as they're both hubcentric so have no room to move...? Although it might be hard to make the 5mm on hubcentric... May have to go for the 15mm ones...
  7. Okay so on the rear I have 10mm spacers with the subsequent 10mm longer studs. However I want the extra 5mm of wideness on the rear! So basically I want to know if I make up so 5mm spacers can I just sit them on top of the 10mm spacers? Alternatively I can make up some 15mm spacers to instead of the 10 + 5 but the 5 will be easier with material sources being limited at work. This is all only possible ofcourse if the 10mm longer studs will take and extra 5mm safely. Opinions please! Dan
  8. Usually mine is 320-350 miles but was pretty impressed with the just under 440
  9. Haha, I very very rarely get that, but I did two long journeys down the a303. So 240 of them were at a relatively steady speed!
  10. I got this figure earlier! Pulled in the petrol station and landed perfect... Been driving on the dashes for most of my 10 mile journey :S I work that out to be a rough 28MPG average, impressed with that!
  11. Not sure I'm going to anymore mate, and the camber arms are already on the car!
  12. This is mine on XXR 527's. 18x9.75 square set up, 265/40's on the rear and 245/40 up front. Oh and they're ET22 and I have a 10mm spacer on the rears (could probably go 15 nicely) first two pics are without the spacers.
  13. BAAAAHHHHHH! THINK IT WAS A RASH DECISION ANYWAY, ALL PLANS NOW GOING AHEAD. Going to stop shouting now false alarm!
  14. Due to a change of circumstances, I'm thinking about selling the suspensions setup. Would anyone be interested? I can sell as one, or the coilovers and air cup kit separate to each other
  15. I've heard really bad things about Aerokit. I was searching extensively a while back because they are cheap, but it seems they're cheap for a reason! So I chose to avoid! Went for an RT front lip.
  16. Ah gutted! Imagine some 19" deep dish teddies, they would need a mean look on their face!
  17. Don't teddies only come in 13 & 14"?
  18. They're not on yet, having to send the diffuser back because it was in terrible condition and was meant to be new. Splitter is on it's way in the post!
  19. You've gone for the same setup as me regarding body kit! Mines style lip Side steps TS style diffuser I'm keeping mine black though
  20. They look like they should be on a Nissan Sunny.
  21. Drift works do good ones, however they are steel so if you're taking the wheels off a lot the powder cost can wear away. If you go for aluminium or alloy ones make sure they're hard anodised and of a reputable brand
  22. Dragged this up from an older post that i created. Thought I'd add it to my build thread! So set out to roll my arches so I can get ultimate wideness at the rear! Jacked it up and took the wheels off, first job was to remove as much dirt and build up from the arch as possible with a screw driver so I didn't cause any damage to the arch once if started rolling. Then cracked out the heat gun, hammer, rag and a bit of courage :S My tool! I wrapped masking tape around it so's not to damage the paint. Heating the area to make sure I don't crack the paint when bending the the lip up. First bit on the first side. First bit done on the second side. I rolled them progressively so did it in two stages, roughly 45 degrees then did it again to as flat as I could get it. Example of it fully rolled (or as flat as I could get it) I also stupidly cracked some paint from being a bit eager and going back to a bit where the paint was no longer hot, so I sealed it up with some sealant as you can see on the arch in this pic. Thanks for looking guys, and maybe it'll give some other guys a bit more courage to have a go at some DIY

I rolled my arches myself with a heat gun and mallet/ masking taped hammer you can't tell that they've been rolled and it just gives you that extra piece of mind when running a fairly wide setup. http://www.350z-uk.com/index.php?/topic/74808-Rolled-my-arches-DIY-style%21/page__view__findpost__p__1112412
