If the tyre width is increased whilst keeping the same aspect ratio then the tyre wall height is increased, therefore, increasing the radius and circumference.

I don`t think the pressure sensors need changing just as a matter of routine. Unless there`s a problem new tyres are just fitted keeping the original sensors, or, at least mine were a couple of years ago.

Copied from another owners club site; On 4th January 2012 ********* started a dialogue with Nissan UK regarding steering lock failures on early 370Z and GT-R cars. Since that time there has been a lot of communications going back and forth. The Committee were delighted when we were informed that Nissan would be replacing all affected locks free of charge, prior to failure. Whilst we wanted to keep you all up to date with progress as it happened, Nissan UK felt that that owners should be officially informed by them before we could release any news. Over the last few weeks a lot of information has already been posted by our Members as things have come to light, but here is all the information in one place with some additional details you will not have heard before. To be precise, Nissan called a Voluntary Service Campaign and not a Recall. The difference being that a Recall is put in place for safety critical issues, in which case cars would have been urgently recalled into dealers to apply a fix. As we know, the steering lock fails safe and there is no safety risk - so a VSC was called. There is no requirement for owners to take their cars into the dealer unless they wish to. On Thursday 28th March 2013 the campaign (ref. P3208) was loaded onto dealer computer systems. Cars that qualify for the campaign are early 370Z and GT-R models which have steering locks 48700-JF00B and 48700-JF00C. These would be replaced with the most recent item 48700-JF00D. From this point, any failed steering locks would be replaced free of charge and any cars going in for a service would automatically have the lock replaced. In order for Nissan to launch the VSC, a procedure has to be followed. This includes having more than 40% of the necessary replacement parts in stock and for owners (as identified by the DVLA database) to be informed by letter. Unfortunately this campaign coincided with industrial action at the DVLA which meant that letters were delayed. Most owners have now received their letter, but not all. However, you do not need to have the letter in order to have your lock replaced. Call your dealer and they will check to see if your car is covered by the VSC, then book it in for the work to be done. You can wait until your next service, but we would advise that you have your lock replaced as soon as is convenient. There is no time limit on the campaign and there is no upper limit on the mileage of the car. Therefore, if you buy a used 370Z or GT-R you can be reassured that the lock will still be replaced free of charge if it has not already been done. It seems to have been a garages/Nissan`s first response to lots of people that have had the problem on here and elsewhere. - deny any knowledge of a recall/steering lock issue with the 370. Then when people have pushed it and they have been forced to dig deeper magically find that there has been such. You should be able to find lots of info about it on here and the net, also try speaking with Nissan direct. If it`s one of the one`s effected (goes of the VIN if I remember correctly) it shouldn`t cost you a penny.

Was it one of the one`s subject to the recall and, if so, was it done under the recall and, if not, shouldn`t they just do it now?

I`m not into the politics/implications/ramifications of it at all but my opinion would be - no way should we have another vote on stay or leave. Those that bothered to vote voted to leave. Just because the "stay" voters didn`t get the result that they wanted shouldn`t mean that we have to do it all over again repeatedly until they do get their way.

Assuming it`s just the same as the 370, then I think the airbag shut off when a light load in the passenger seat is detected is US spec only. UK spec cannot turn off the air bag and it is only suitable to use forward facing child seats in them when the child is old enough.

I take mine to Westway Manchester, even now after we`ve moved to Lincoln, but only really because I bought it new from there and always been happy with the service. I don`t find them too expensive for a main dealer and they are supposed to be a Nissan HPC. As above, Lockwood & Greenwood is the only local independent that I`ve heard being recommended for Zed`s.

Looks like a lot of fun...... Wish we had places like that to ride off road bikes in this country where It`s illegal to ride them just about everywhere that isn`t private.

I think it was only a colour option for the GT Edition and convertibles.

Wow. A bit different from a superbike. I`ve had a couple of KTM`s, a 620 & a 640 and loved them but only used them on road.

No, GT Edition. List price was £35K but Nissan was doing £4.5K discount. Nismo came out a few months later at around £37.5K list price.

Was it auto folding before? The 350 mirrors don`t normally auto fold on locking. Only manually with the button. - unless fitted with an after market device to do so.

I`ll have had mine 6 years end of February and don`t intend ever getting rid of it but still a long way to go to catch you up. Not used daily (and sometimes not even weekly) so only just coming up to 19K miles. Interesting on the price though, I paid £30K for mine 8 years later.

It`s not illegal per se. There is no specific offence of "undertaking". But if it could be proved to be careless, dangerous, etc. then you could be prosecuted for that offence.

I`ve always viewed divorces as a "lifestyle change" - and then maybe you could keep the car .....

Same with mine as the others above. Jump in with key in pocket, depress clutch, press and release button, starts up. (except the once when the battery had gotten low and struggled to turn it over). No need to press button to turn it on first, or hold it in, or press brake pedal.
