C20LET................
but seriously lol...
i do like the LS v8 conversions, look and sound great, so does the 2jz
i would love to see the looks on peoples faces though if a rotary z turned up, not just any rotary, something a bit special, like a 4 rotor. or atleast a 3 rotor with boost. i think the fully tuned 11k redline would definately turn heads
Or that 6 rotor that PPRE in New Zealand have been making.... MMMMMMMMM

Easy...
(guess)
I'm not good with German lumps, but isn't that the engine from the Carrera GT?
-
I suppose an Aston Martin V12 would look and sound pretty special!
-
If you could chuck any lump you like into your 350z, what would you pick?
If money was endless, for me it would have to be the VK56DE. V8, Nissan made, big power and you could pull one out of the new Titan.

Do you have any purple tyres please....................
*sighs*
Just going to leave this here:

I'm thinking of changing mine, more for the reasons, A) to bring the wheel closer to me using a wheel boss for when I'm in my harnesses, for a smaller diameter for easier handling of it (yes, I'm saying I prefer playing with small objects, yada yada... ) and C) so that when I leave the car parked up on the road at home I can take the wheel out using a removable boss, as it's a theft deterrent if the wheel is in my house.
However having said that, if I used my car a lot on the road I'd want to keep the standard one. A solid ring of steel with some high density foam and leather wrapped around it is going to do a lot of damage. I wouldn't want to hit my head on it at walking pace, let alone at car crash deceleration speeds.

I'm a bit late to the thread. But where are you based? I know a guy who does smart repair and he's really good. He is used by most of the main dealers around Northampton, if you'd like I can give you his details.

2nd pic is amazing

"He said that he had not meant the post to come across as boastful but had been trying to offer van owners security advice to prevent them becoming victims of crime."
What a muppet!

But they from the states, check the US eBay there are plenty on there that you can have to your door including customs etc got about £450 each.
As for changing them to drive on the wrong side of the road, as far I am aware, it's not adjustable, but maybe the right person could break them down and do it
You beat me!

try fleabay US site. You might find some nice aftermarket LHD ones for a nice price

Edit - Photo not actual size - -its much smaller
The photo is smaller?! You have big nuts!

What will the reproductions be made of? urethane or FRP?

I looked on cougar store they do buddy club exhausts for £700 that's only two hundred more and should last you.
I'm buying one of these On the tinternets I've only ever seen good things about BuddyClub stuff, and on here I've only ever seen good stuff about CS, so a winning combination in my eyes!
Oh and all Japspeed stuff I have tried has been made of chocolate and has fallen apart very quickly. My K2 back box crapped its baffles at Santa Pod a few months ago, I still haven't had a it a year yet so I wouldn't have had t for long at the time.

Earthing points should be same place/distance on auto and manual I think as I'm guessing engine set up is same? Might be wrong!
There's an extra cable for the auto. It goes "from the transmission to massively improve shifting"

No worries. Takes a while to get the angle of the dangle right, but you've got my pics as a point of reference
Quite a few things in life can go wrong if you don't get the angle of your dangle right
And flyboy, would you make some alterations to one for tyre carrying?
-
I emailed them for information and never heard back. I thought it could be a good tyre rack too

its in a small recess. Don't look for it, feel for it. closer to the passenger side if I recall correctly. I think it might even have a small tab of Velcro to keep it up?
-
Will you be putting some glass hoses on again stu?
-
I use imageshack easy peasy, don't even need an account if you don't want to sign up for one

Welcome! Just a question though, why is your DP a picture of that Gymnast, Beth Tweddle?!

Dam, just filled my washer bottle with a very good quality screen wash, it's got alcohol to stop it freezing, wonder if this will be bad for the paint, did not know they were even there till I pressed the button thinking it was fog lamps whilst checking out the new z, bloody soaked the whole car, smells nice.
I was getting out of the car to fill up once, forgot to push the flap release so lent back in to push it and got the wrong button. Hey presto, me getting a face full of screen wash and the pump attendant creased over laughing. Funnily though, I've never forgotten to push the button whilst I'm still in the car since!

Are we 100% that those wheels are the right shade of purple? I've seen so many thrown around I can't keep up
