  1. Bit disappointing that he didn't give it some really. I fully appreciate why he didn't and why they would never get approval for it, but I'd still love to see an F1 car going full chat round there!
  2. I've loved these for a long while lol. Have you tried nengun performance? They can get hold of most bits, but they aren't cheap!
  3. Just on the subject of paisley freight. There's quite a few threads on driftworks moaning about them and their service. I've never used them myself, but there's a lot of wheels sent places on driftworks, so it might be something to bare in mind.
  4. Got back last night at work today. Catching up on emails
  5. I'd love to use a small generator, but I'm so close to the neighbours (who aren't exactly fond of my car anyway due to the exhaust note) that I think I'd be hung drawn and quartered for it!
  6. That's a kinky get up you've got right there! From what I've "worked out" with my limited electrical knowledge, with a 12v you can get 2-3 hours, providing you have a battery rated with high enough "amp hours". It's all very confusing, but it looks like a 12v leisure battery (as suggested above by tony.r123) would take 10hrs sunlight to charge from a 5W solar panel and would have far higher "amp hours" than a car one. Just need to work out what draw some lights would take and if I'd need an inverter....
  7. Afternoon all, I've been thinking of lighting my garage so I can use it at all times, however without mains electricity. Has anyone done this themselves? The garage is 76.05 feet from my house, with 2 other properties and a public footpath in between the 2 destinations. I was thinking of a 5W solar trickle charger attached to a 12V car battery using LED strip lights? I found this: http://www.photonicuniverse.com/en/catalog/full/117-5W-solar-trickle-charging-kit-for-12V-battery-for-car%252C-van%252C-motorbike%252C-boat-or-any-other-12V-application.html It looks like it should protect the battery from the most common death dealing problems and doesn't cost the earth either. All of the other important things like tea and biscuits are close enough that I (Read: Fiancée!) can walk to get them Thanks for any help
  8. Stu would that be a job by Cush? He's a master of his craft. They look awesome!

    Beautiful!

I had a set of those when I first passed my test, I managed to get my foot wedged between the edge of the aluminium step plate and my clutch. The rivets got drilled out of them as soon as I got home hate those mats with a passion now. They wouldn't be a deal breaker by any means!

Only down side is those fast and furious floor mats!
  11. Earlswood, just south of Redhill. Dorking is a very short drive away! Earlswood, just south of Redhill. Dorking is a very short drive away! from Coulsdon Add me into the mix Hi from Woking! I'll be out your way getting my car from Abbey on Saturday

    Harness bar

I had the bar looked at, and it was decided that as my shoulder straps are 3" wide and I'm not damaging the structure it should be fine. Obvs it's only a temp measure until I get a full cage
  13. New piston rings too I presume?! On the subject of this 350, I was outbid at £600

    Accelera PHI

Don't worry mate, I won't be here long. You'll find me in a ditch somewhere soon..... got space for one next to you? I can slide in gently!
  15. Elephant offer key insurance now, I pay £1.60 (+/-) a month for it and if I lose my keys they will replace all the car and house locks for me with no excess. Worth trying to get some incase it happens again

    Accelera PHI

Used them multiple times and love them. I swap tyres for track/drifting so I have no idea what they are like "on the edge" etc, but I definitely rate them and will be buying 4 next month.
  17. would be useful to know if this is true! mine taps like anything!
  18. and there seems to be a LOT of those bumpers around the forum, so they must fit pretty well.
  19. Rainx (or something similar) the rear window and then all water will run off anyway I thought I'd miss mine, but I did mine almost 2 years ago and I've not missed it
  20. There would DEFF be a minimum order, probably of around 100 metres, they'd have to develop that colour too. I think it would cost a FORTUNE for them to do a one off colour. It would be far cheaper to go down the respray route Edit: make that 300 metres... http://www.hexis.co.uk/academy/Hexis/Colour_Matching_2.html
  21. I've seen varying gloss pearlescent white vinyls, if you pop down to a vinyl wrapping company and ask to look at their range of available wraps most places normally have a sample book provided by the manufacturer for each colour they can get. 3M and Hexis do some pretty trick colours now.
  22. Just wanted to explain my like! I'm not liking that you are colour blind! Just the comment made me laugh! I shall stop digging now!
  23. Aaaahhhh. Assasins Creed Evo!
  24. If that was mine, I'd ditch the reserve from the add and skip all the way to the bank with some chumps £8100!
  25. It's funny, I never used to either and then I thought about how many saxo owners etc paint their callipers red and stick brembo decals on their cars and decided that they were staying the original colour for authenticity
