    Traction

Not related, but MPSS's were released for general sale in January 2011 surprised how new they are! Thought they were pre 370z!
  4. Zeds have a viscous LSD so it's not really an issue. It's more of an issue for clutch type diffs as they could be damaged, the Z one is just fluid. As for a trustworthy place, go to your local council run test centre, they aren't allowed to do repair work, so they will only flag an issue if it's really there.
  5. He doesn't want peanuts, he wants clips and bolts
  6. be aware of not using the search button on the forum: http://www.350z-uk.c...tential-buyers/ http://www.350z-uk.c...at-to-look-for/ http://www.350z-uk.c...all-i-look-for/ http://www.350z-uk.c...at-to-look-for/ http://www.350z-uk.c...at-to-look-for/ http://www.350z-uk.c...at-to-look-for/ http://www.350z-uk.c...fo-when-buying/ http://www.350z-uk.c...at-to-look-for/ http://www.350z-uk.c...-for-used-350z/ http://www.350z-uk.c...o-look-out-for/ http://www.350z-uk.c...o-look-out-for/ Everything from 2006 to 2015, all individual threads, there's more too I got bored of copy and pasting... edit: spelling
  7. Crazy idea What!? You mean Ross Kemp didn't die in the boot of a Twingo?!
  8. There was a thing a few years ago with David Coulthard being taken out by Nico Rosberg in an SLS on the Nurburgring, DC was cr@pping himself at various points. Very amusing to watch
  9. FYI, sale opportunity: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/105025-what-bgw-should-i-buy/page__p__1575440#entry1575440

  11. I had someone ask me to stop a drifting passenger ride once as they were going to spew
  12. They re branded from ISIS performance to ISR (NOT Islamic State Racing ) due to negative associations with the name for obvious reasons.
  13. Use a can like this, 1) it's got more in it 2) It's got a vent to equalise the pressure to allow faster refuelling 3) it's not that expensive and means you have to carry less stuff: http://www.demon-twe...48h2BoCUVXw_wcB you will need to buy a nozzle/hose to go on it too though. http://www.demon-twe...fuel-containers Or use one like pete says, ($110 plus $31 for the filler)
  14. forgot to add, H-dev do a lot of these, so will be fast. Your guy may well be a bit more, so I wouldn't count him out just on that if he is good
  15. I've heard that the "book" time from Nissan is around 5 hours, so your guy saying 6 to allow for issues is probably about right. H-dev have a list of prices on their site: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=350z_common look at around £300 including VAT for the clutch plus a bit for the flywheel, h-dev are reasonable on price and great on quality
  16. one nut, you'll need a steering wheel boss to attach it.

    Leak...

this might help, it's very helpful with all the places water could come from. He's a nice guy too, so pm him if you have questions Edit: forgot the link http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/86683-water-in-my-zed-solved/
  18. Er, any competent garage can change the clutch and flywheel on a Z. I did it on the road outside my house and I'm not a mechanic by any means! The only "specialist" tools you need are a torque wrench for the flywheel bolts and a clutch alignment tool which normally comes in the box with the clutch. single mass flywheels can cause issues in some cars, but the 350z generally isn't one of them. It's just a little bit more noisy than the dual mass one.
  19. It says it's not in the description I like it, was tempted by using a modified one of these for mine: I'm thinking probably not though
  20. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/68-CHEVY-C10-FULL-CUSTOM-FRAME-OFF-LOW-RIDER-TRUCK-RAT-ROD-HOTROD-AIR-BAGGED/121833102100?_trksid=p2047675.c100010.m2109&_trkparms=aid%3D555012%26algo%3DPW.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140221143405%26meid%3D684d68b44ed24170bf814334a9aa680f%26pid%3D100010%26rk%3D8%26rkt%3D24%26sd%3D231785706190 THIS is the one to buy if you want crazy low! The eagle eyed will notice I have the same front grille to put on to mine, much prefer the Chevy front end to the GMC one

  22. And money It's really fun though
