  1. They don't need spacers to fit, but they look LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME without spacers. This is with 25mm:
  2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/172224654882  I'm out, didn't realise they were still that expensive over there still, C6 ones will be the answer http://www.ebay.com/itm/c6-corvette-rims-with-tires/131841041784?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3Da5e80a0e663a40f98a79813459e51e2b%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D172224654882
  3. My V8 flames like you wouldn't believe, I don't think a V makes a difference really.
  4. I've been speaking with Christophe Lohier Customer Care Cadillac and Chevrolet Europe 0805 980 246 Might be worth giving him a call?
  5. Massive case of the jealouses! There's a corvette dealership in Virginia Water if you didn't know, so you can get the service book stamped correctly etc. Massive price hike from buying over here though so wise to bring one over from the states. I'd never been a Corvette fan until they bought out the Stingray which then got improved into the C7, really love these ones. Adrian, if you decide to put custom wheels on it, can you let me know as I might be interested in buying the wheels for my truck (cashflow dependant obviously, I know they're not cheap )
  6. I had mine changed, it used to be my surname and then I realised I couldn't be an idiot really really kind as people would find me on social media and abuse me back thank me...
  7. Is that you walking OVER the failside? Personally I'd rather herpes to the failside, at least that wouldn't end up all over the internet with people laughing at me
  8. I tend to agree on the dated bit Graham ... but a fully kitted up black one looks the business I can't help but think that they look like a Mondeo Coupe. There's quite a few around Guildford and if they're black or grey, they don't stand out at all Much prefer the previous shape 'stangs
  9. The wing vents, roof scoop and quarter panel scoops, are they functional?
  10. He'd probably already had it logged into the system when it was called in. If it's in the system he can't let it go as it would be him who had now lost it. Rules are rules, I'm glad our police force follow them, particularly in an airport. Really sucky situation for you though.
  11. I'd suggest making the LED bits straighter, they look a bit wibbly wobbly in the render Will be seriously cool though! How long do they take to make?
  12. Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say You don't actually have to be doing anything wrong for a data leak to destroy your reputation and your life. I'm sure you wouldn't mind me or anyone else for that matter to go through your phone and entire internet history. All of it. You've got nothing to hide. You? Or a trained professional who will only ever be allowed to look if they have suitable cause and have put their case across first? They don't just go looking a random people's ebay history, forum posts, Google searches. Oh and don't worry, they don't even care if you've been looking at pornhub whilst you're supposed to have been working. Yes, we have the Edward Snowdons of the world who manage to steal data from places they shouldn't be. However they could do that at your phone network, Internet provider, employer, virus etc etc etc. Why do you think so many "undesirables" only get caught when their pcs, laptops, cameras in to shops to be worked on. There's a long process to be able to view people's personal information, unless of terrorism concerns when I'd hope it was expedited. As for cameras following you around town, they haven't actually said how many requests were granted. If 400,000 requests are made but only 200,000 are granted is it really an issue? That's 0.3% of the British population being actively looked at by the government. Some of you are paranoid. Edit:got the numbers wrong
  13. Have you got more planned for the car, or is that it?
  14. It's like the whole email reading thing, I feel sorry for the person who potentially reads my emails, what a dull job It's only ever people with something to hide who care about these things.
  15. Powerflow are a bit hit or miss, it depends what/who they have available on the day. If they're going to use a lot of 90 degree bends, walk away. The z system isn't too complicated, so you should be ok, however I've heard much better things about Longlife if there's one near you. Powerflow in Slough were ok when I used them, but I did have to go back for welds to be fixed twice. You could get a buddyclub exhaust for around 700, they're loud but still sound decent. Don't forget that noise for the sake of it doesn't sound great, the z's get very raspy. There was a guy on here with a convertible Z who was always going for more and more noise, it sounded absolutely terrible. As in, I'd rather put my head in a blender than follow his car for any period of time.
  16. Genuinely thought you were being a troll to begin with. "Can I have a front shot" "Here, have a side shot"
  17. Just to put an actual monetary figure on it. When I was drifting, I was spending 6-700 or so a day (without entry). For the Nissan day at Donnington it was over £800 by the time I'd added in a hotel for the night before. I wasn't doing it at a high level by any means and I definitely wasn't spending the most. Drifting is considered a cheap motorsport too.
  18. They're cool, but some of them look crazy http://www.shop.cae-racing.de/index.php?a=183〈=eng
  19. "I'm smashing my missus as often as possible and my super swimmers will no doubt bear me many heirs for my estate shortly!"  No, I just know she's desperate for heirs. She would never do anything under hand, however I fear my excuses are starting to get more trivial and less reasonable
  20. I have no children, although I'm sure that will change in the not too distant future. Please all carry on, I'm gaining a list of hobbies to quash before the seed has been planted
  21. If you want really cheap racing - but don't mind about it not being on a circuit - and the chance to go against the best of the best: http://gymkhanagrid.com/ You'll need to be able to sling a car around, but it's genuinely cheap to do.
  22. Also, that rubber cone, the base of it is about 1" thick...you can cut half of the base off That's another 0.3-0.5" drop...will be scraping soon We should be charging for this awesome advice
  23. Between that and the tyres there's almost 0.8" we've just got you
  24. 275/35R18 on the back bud. I honesty can't see any way of fitting them incorrectly. The mini Pro's are a true coilover on the back and do without the spring cup. I've spoken to Dougie on here and he's lended me some advice with adding droop and redrilling the bottom cup, although I don't fancy drilling into my coilovers lol. In going to try add droop and see where that leaves me even though I would rather run a coilover as it was designed for I can't help with the true coilovers as I've never had them so wouldn't like to guess, I had ones with the spring bucket. However, just your tyre size will be adding to the gap: http://www.willtheyfit.com/index.php?width=245&aspect=45&diameter=18&wheelwidth=8&offset=40&width2=275&aspect2=35&diameter2=18&wheelwidth2=8&offset2=40&Submit=Calculate#content You've got 1.4cm more arch gap over the standard 245/45R18 tyre, ok the car is also 1.4cm lower, but if it's arch gap you want, a better tyre would help. A 275/40R18 is almost bang on.
