  1. I used www.paints4u.com for some paint, I'd highly recommend them. They even mixed some paint and put it into aerosol for me so I could test it for a colour match without buying the whole lot first. Super helpful over the phone too, they helped me find a code for a 1968 chevy paint colour they only made for the year out of one factory in California!
  2. Literally didn't read your post. Just go back and read one of your old posts on the EXACT SAME SUBJECT if you want to see everyone saying "no your z is gorgeous, keep it" "No your car is so amazing". If you're having to ask a forum of Z lovers if you should keep yours so frequently, clearly you already know the answer. It's like that guy who posted up asking if he should break up with his missus, if you're having to ask a bunch of randoms on the internet, you already know the answer. Sell it and move on, just copy and paste one of the old for sale posts you did. http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=479626 http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91426-04-uk-350z-for-sale-5500/
  3. they're easy it miss if you're not used to the car. first time I installed my coilovers I missed it
  4. Greg at Protuner is very well regarded in the drifting world, or certainly was at least. Not seen any bad reviews personally. Now, I didn't see the original post, but is the hold up on parts he waiting for, or just he's overloaded so being slow
  5. I ran spacers for a couple of years, drifting, dailying etc. Went through more clutches (killed 2!) than I did spacers (killed 0!), just buy decent ones and you'll be more than fine
  6. make sure these have been removed: I have seen a Z with coilovers and those still in, it's like a 2" piece of rubber which sometimes gets stuck, it will be on top of the spring if it's still there. It's not supposed to be with coilovers, only with normal suspension. Whip it out
  7. Aye, is really good stuff that, looks good too. I had a can of it explode in my face when I was a 19yr old apprentice. I removed the air hose from the can without depressurising it, I was completely black faced. Service manager almost died of laughter. similar to when people have "incidents" with the oil drainers
  8. This stuff is quick and amazing, you just have to do a lot of masking first: http://www.frost.co.uk/schutz-underseal-1-litre.html?gclid=CjwKEAjw-abABRDquOTJi8qdojwSJABt1S1OJeb05hBkb4m5xFkHsDbDK1M6EiNNz76MgYai84vqSRoCYKzw_wcB
  9. He said old oil vs waxoil, so not running the car on it My truck had an oil leak in the old engine, which coated the underside in oil very nicely and I can DEFINITELY see where was covered vs where wasn't. It does do the job, but I'd say waxoil would last longer and be kinder to the environment.
  10. And if the car gets stolen? If he was involved in a crash they'd ask to see his license and V5C, so unless he also commits MORE fraud by not changing those, they'd find out. Definitely wouldn't do this. It's fraud, illegal and pretty risky.
  11. If it's not on topic, it should probably go in the "Off Topic Discussion" area... http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/15-off-topic-discussion/

    Bumpers wanted!

try madmikester, I think I saw a spare when I was at his
  13. They'll fit on the rears, the fronts will have no wear on them unless you're an absolute boss and are dragging them at massive speed. Leave the road wheels on the fronts and use the 17's as the rears.
  14. Unfortunately the "area" for my post code is massive, it includes some of Woking town centre, 4 villages, 2 of which have massive council estates in On my actual road there's very little at all reported for Jan-Aug. Surrey isn't all leafy and posh, they've let some riff raff in recently, I guess around 27 years ago *edit: changed non-nonsensical sentence*
  15. https://www.police.uk will tell you the exact crimes around the new house. there's been 8 "Vehicle crimes" in your area from January-August 16, so not massive by any stretch. There's been 25 in my area in the same time!
  16. Next video can you shuffle the wheel the whole time too please
  17. That's how I won over mine for a bigger space
  18. so I'd forgotten about this thread I've moved out of my little garage, primarily as my truck project was too long for it and was too wide for the door too I now have a 1/3 share in a 1200sqft shed, which has power and a roof! We're looking for another one too, as with all of these things we have too much stuff now! We can get two vehicles across with plenty of room in the middle, we can have three cars lined on each side, so six in total, although generally we have 4 with work space at the front. There's a mezzanine up top for storage, racking at the back and to one side and then there's two work benches, one at the front and one at the back. The orange tiny tool chest is long gone as it stored basically nothing There's plenty of wall space for car stuff too Downsides are there's no water inside so it's a bit of a walk, and there's not three phase power either which is a bummer. Otherwise it's perfect
  19. INCHES?! As above, that would be craaaaazy low!
  20. RX8 wheels fit and are pretty cheap and light. I hit a pothole whilst sideways on track so hard it folded the tyre over double on itself, the wheel didn't have a mark on it!
  21. the standard GT wheels, they're SO CHEAP, I had 22 of them at one stage as I would pay £100 for 4 with decent tyres. They're also ridiculously strong, I've been into gravel at very high speeds on them, bashed things with them and treated them like crap and never had an issue. The other good thing is that they're all the same width, so you don't have to worry about switching them all around.
  22. Sharing an event for all of those who may be interested It's a charity toy run on the 19th November. We will be meeting at the Ace Cafe and then driving to the White Lodge Centre next to St Peter's Hospital in Chertsey to donate toys to the disabled and seriously ill children who attend and stay at the centre. The run has been going for the last 5 years and we've previously supported the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford, Shooting Star Chase hospice in Guildford as well as the White Lodge Centre. We donate toys for all age ranges to the centre which they then distribute to the children for Christmas, they will accept anything, from baby toys to DVD's, old games etc, so there's always something which can be donated. Once at the centre, we park up and any children who wish can come and look at the cars. The event on facebook is a little confusing as it mentions an evening event, but this isn't necessary for people to attend, it's mostly for the people who take part in the race series run by the same people. The toy run portion of the day will end in the early afternoon I'd imagine. The facebook event for those interested: https://www.facebook.com/events/564038897111972/ About the White Lodge Centre, from their own website: http://www.whitelodgecentre.co.uk/about-us "White Lodge Centre supports disabled children, young people and adults, their families and carers in Surrey and throughout the surrounding areas. We specialise in care for those with a diverse range of disabilities, including cerebral palsy and other similar conditions. We’re recognised as a centre of excellence where all the services we offer consistently attain the highest possible standards." Any questions, just ask
