  1. Every year I am glued to the iom tt, the only thing I dont watch is the zero tt (electric), we have 5 senses, remove any one or more of those, in this case obviously sound and the experience is diminished beyond recognition, its like eating without being able to taste, you might as well have a sh*t sandwich.
  2. No worries, thats exactly what my jdm did, i racked up a surprising number of miles sat at traffic lights when the speedo was registering 100mph or more Still worth checking the connections behind the speedo.
  3. Guessing you have an import, so presuming as you are showing miles per hour you have a speed chip converter in there somewhere, most likely behind the instruments, i had exactly the same problem on mine, the chip converters dont work well with can bus systems, you need a proper canbus unit, http://www.ncs-syste...m8-k2m-390.html So first thing to do, establish if you have a speed chip converter spliced into the wiring behind the instruments, involves removing the instruments which is pretty easy, should look like this: http://www.sumopower...cartek-ck-un-09 If you have one of these, take it out, connect the oem wires back up, very easy as colour coded and see if you're speedo works correctly, if it does, get the first linked one and fit.
  4. Arb's will reduce body roll and understeer, also worth finding out if there any recommended geometry settings out there from track go'ers.

    APS oil sump

Can in not be ground out and welded, I thought aps went bust? I managed to get a 2nd hand one through Clarke Motorsport, zmanalex would also be worth a pm.
  6. A re you sure you fitted the connector for the aerial? Or the power supply that is often not present in iso connectors for some reason.
  7. Its still sprayed, but more plastidip style product, hence the "dip".
  8. Well she has already threatened a tax haven should they not play ball. I am still trying to get my head around the attitude from Europe, which is another question, who is it with the attitude, is it the individual countries (forgetting Spain with their Gibraltar agenda) or is it Junker et al (mep's). Why would the individual countries not want to trade with us, imports and exports or are they arsey as presumably they will have to make up the shortfall from out contributions? Any views on the exchange rate, anyone think the £ will get stronger after the election or not until Brexit is done?
  9. So out of the 10 above, what wouldnt people do, for me it would be Rodeo, absolute mentalists!!
  10. Plenty of good flip vinyls too if thats an alternative, at least it can be removed when the time comes to sell.
  11. If Dorset isnt too far I can recommend a top bodyshop, done many a show car, pm me for details if it isnt too far, £5k minimum though buddy. If anyone quotes less, I wouldnt have a lot of faith.
  12. I didnt say that at all, lets be realistic about what the security services deem a terror threat and i am sure that doesnt include isis popping up in a google search The security services know who these people are in most cases with very good reason. But how would you define who is and isn't a threat? Serious question, not being flippant on this. Genuinely curious to know what you'd define as a terror threat. This. This is what I was trying to get across at the top of this page (knowing my luck it'll go onto page 6 now). Obviously we all want these things to stop, but how you differentiate between a real threat and a non. How many others with the same threat level as the Manchester guy exist that will never actually do it? Whats that Tom Cruise film where they get arrested before the crimes take place because of time travel or something. We need that. Minority Report Which didnt work in the end, haha, pre cognitive, there was also another film where they travelled back in time, sent the perp to the future and they were killed, Looper!
  13. I thought you werent being flippant, who cares how i or they define it or my opinion, i trust what their definitions and boundaries are seeing as most of these "people" are known to them, so their definitions/boundaries seem fine, whatever they might be

I would happily put faith in our very well informed security services to make that judgement, lets just put it like that

  16. They were available on jdm cars (well some), so might be worth enquiring with Nissan on a price first before you go to too much trouble, although sure you can probably make them cheaper.
  17. I am enveloping France into it, few and far between it may be (here) and appreciate what we dont see and what is done, but imho i dont think anything like this needs to occur, especially as 99% are known to security services, would you not admit there must be some kind of failing at that point, or just simply we dont have the resources?
  18. If we are being pedantic yes, but we are not, lets just say then to avoid any confusion, the religions that ACT on those words.
  19. So you think there is no evidence when they are known to the security services?? No smoke without fire and tough is whatever you want it to be, or are you happy that this continues?? Lets not try to make this a racist issue as others have with comments like "send them back", i couldnt care what race they are or arent or where they were born, i am talking Terrorists, nothing more, nothing less!!!!
  20. This! The news today also confirms as i "jumped to conclusions" the guy was known to the security services, so just confirms that whilst we may have the one of the toughest counter terrorist law, its not enough, more needs to be done.
  21. No need for all of them, just the ones that ask their followers to kill people and that doesnt include the peaceful Muslim faith just for the flag wavers on here!
  22. Your friend is feeding you a lot of rubbish. There are lots of ways to stay well hidden on internet, including dark web: VPN, encrypted traffic etc. Dont take this the wrong way, i know who i believe thanks
  23. A fair few references to the IRA and I suppose as thats the most similar threat we have had on our shores so I understand that, but they are worlds apart, the IRA left coded warnings for their bombs, their goals were not the slaughter of innocent men, women and children, to me there is a vast difference and to simply say, nothing we can do, havent we learned etc is just staggering.
  24. I would imagine there might be a fair bit of interest in their full range for elise/vx220, if thats an avenue you can explore.
