^^^ I think its fair to say the op has posted a couple of threads about what next after the Zed so maybe you are right and is justifying the sale with the highlighted issues and possible future issues (clutch, oil gallery etc) Motoring aint cheap, even if you go down the route of a new KIa, you still know its going to cost "x" per month for the years you own it, plus fuel etc so i guess you are still looking at a £2-£2.5k a year min inc payments, so you are only a £2-£2.5k better off than in your Zed a year according to your figures. So in 3 years you have saved just about enough to get you right back where you started, in a HR 350z at £7k ish. If you want to save, get a diesel sh*tter or moped. Or bite the bullet and get into something you want with £400-£500 a month As an example: https://www.whatcar.com/news/bmw-m2-vs-jaguar-f-type-vs-porsche-718-cayman-s-what-will-they-cost/ Take note Mr Elona, only 4% choosing a manual box, they are doomed i tell ya

Am i being daft, it says, REAR headlight level sensor?

^^^ I go along with your previous comment, i would be more worried about sap than bird sh*t.

Well done for getting where you need to be and good luck in finding the right car. P.s I never thought i would get into a plastic lego brick, but damn it was epic

Definitive proof of lies from Greg Johnson / Trade Link Cars.
Jetpilot replied to colesl4w's topic in 350Z General
As a complete neutral i have seen more than a few threads on here in my time ref, lets say, less than satisfied customers/potential customers of Tradelink and yet there is always people defending him, good to see a balance of course and with good reason i am sure. Fairly obvious Parallelo dealings went well but i have to ask Ekona, have you dealt directly with Tradelink or just like his attitude in his responses, if the latter i cant see any defence is at all balanced until the shoe is on the other foot. There always seem to be a few dealers who attract attention, Keighley Trade Centre and another that slips my memory but sure there is a sticky somewhere and whenever they are mentioned everyone jumps on the bandwagon of how to steer well clear, but lets be honest, much like Tradelink, some people must be getting good cars or service from these highlighted dealers or they just wouldnt be in business, personally i would avoid all three like the plague, no smoke without fire and all that. -
Fancy nicking Bobby Tarmac, you could have just opened up a Tarmac Sportz Southern Division. Thanks for all your help over the years Bobby, a pleasure to have met both you and your much better half Netti

Tyres and brakes are consumables, any car will need them and unless you go down the Mx5, Ellise route running small tyres any half sensible car will be a similar price, same goes for brakes and clutch and if you hanker for something more modern, chances are those parts are going to cost more than a 350z.

How about a Bentley Continental GT as a complete curve ball, absolutely lovely lovely place to be

I would be more concerned there are no washing facilities at such a "prestigious" block, i am not sure i will ever cease to be amazed by some people in this country and what they expect and want and dare i say what they feel is their "right".

One thing i never really got my head around, for example and not that you would, a supercharger kit for a Nsx, cost twice that for a 350z, same goes for a Failside kit, there is absolutely no reason why apart from the car costs more to start. A Maclaren should cost no more than any other car, its just that they can charge that much. Its exactly the same in the marine industry, any engine in a boat is just (on the most part) a marinised car/truck engine, yet try buying dealer parts, twice the price if not more, starter motors, filters, alternators etc etc, same goes for the mechanics, back in 98 they were charging £50 an hour, all because its you are considered wealthy to own a boat so you can afford it.

Looks are subjective, i think it looks awesome and being an entry model there is talk of a more aggressive version to follow. Apart from the latest Exiges most were a 4 pot supercharged so still forced induction and after having just got out of a 4 pot supercharged VX220 after a year or more running north of 355hp and weighing under a ton that would humble V6 Exiges, yes i know they are stupid fast, but thanks for telling me You can wave the V flag all day long but its a bit fruitless boasting my engines bigger than yours when a 4 pot has just left you for dead* *Apart from the sound of course

You shouldnt need to buy the exact model, integrated will all be std sizes whether that be 50/50 or 70/30 etc split design. The only thing you might need to do is change the slider/swing mech for the integrated kicthen doors. Once you have messed about calling someone out, paid for repair you probably wont be too far off the cost of new and most places like AO charge a nominal fitting fee.

It will have more road going presence than any Elise, Cayman or 911 as they have been around for years and are common sights, maybe not so much the Elise, whether anybody likes the look of the new Alpine, they are brand new and pretty sure any car enthusiast would appreciate just what it is, imho of course. I feel a lot will be put off by the fact there is no manual, although i couldnt give two hoots, i am sure they will sell by the bucket load. Much like my views on the A45 though, i just couldnt justify the new price, however, when you look at its rivals, its just another choice in the market place, which is only a good thing.

I just had a chat with Litchfields circa the warranty, any cars they sell will have six months, you can then take out their yearly policy after that, there are some stipulations, they only warranty cars with less than 65k miles (but will consider higher) if the car meets the next bits, cars they have tuned, only cars with full nissan or litchfield service. Re the payout, provide them with as many links as possible for similar cars for sale or sold, when they say they are struggling to value it, read they are trying to have youre pants down or get something from a Nissan dealer.

Basically a Nismo exhaust for anyone not in the know, Fujitsubo made them for Nismo

Oi, i said that ages ago A lot like having a w*ank over sex, you still get to where you need to be, but you missed out on the best bit in the middle (debatable for some i a sure) You are really embarrassing yourself now with such ridiculous comments, maybe he just got overwhelmed by the gargantuan 2 ton weight in a "sportscar", quite the contradiction really! However, as you have said yourself, you are just posting inflammatory and trolling responses to enjoy some "banter", you are very luck GZ that this forum is moderated in such a relaxed and friendly fashion, i think just about every other forum i have been on and am still on would have banned you a long time ago for the consist trolling posts (admitted by you) and the fact you offer no other contribution to, again, a 350z OWNERS forum and before you get all animated, my current vehicle still has a vq engine and made by Nissan so close enough in my opinion. I appreciate there are many ex owners still active, even mods posting in this very thread, however, they interact on a daily basis on a wide range of topics offering help wherever required, nothing gets on my t*ts more than Ekona banging on about his Porsche fanboi ism, but i perhaps dont think there is a topic subject requiring help or advise where he doesnt engage so he has ever right! So, openly and in the view of all, please can the mods view these persistent trolling posts as beyond the remit of where you want this forum to be (and breaking the posting guidelines) and take action as i am sick to death of GZ and his EV crusade on a ICE, 350Z forum OR as Ekona suggested some time ago, have a single electric car thread as its always the same discussion and same debate, nothing new and nothing changes. I appreciate i dont have to read the topic but i am genuinely interested in what us dinosaurs think about a production vehicle pulling what is very impressive 0-"x" times, however it would be good to have some conjecture and not blinkered or rose coloured views and utterly ridiculous posts about "driving ability" as an example! Lastly to you GZ, you are a complete and utter (sorry just entered silent battery mode and maybe for the best)

Well not quite everyone, if you know what i mean, some still have posters on their wall or a little pic in their wallet

Do you mean losses of £468 million in Q3, doubling its losses of Q2?

The same guy who missed the target of 1600 Model 3's by 1340? Rearrange these 3 words: Sh8t of full Down in writing or not

Just to reflect back to the GTR, after keeping a lookout for an Ultima GTR i think its going to be a real effort to find one, just due to the numbers out made so i have been doing a little more reading up on the Nissan GTR, Litchfields do a pretty comprehensive warranty so although its not the cheapest it would give peace of mind and can be factored in to cost during ownership.

I think it tells you all you need to know there isnt a Tesla lap time in the top 100 well to normal car enthusiasts

I had Gaz on mine, not the best and if i had kept it they were definitely on the list to be changed. I bet you cannot wait till spring

^^^ Proper camera angle fail there, haha Spot on about being cramped though, i only ever noticed it on the road when more relaxed though, most passengers on track just put there hands between their legs which helped.

Mmmm, think there are a few conspiracy theories going on here, car park spaces are just too small for todays cars and sadly, some people are just lazy f*ckers and give no consideration for other peoples property, i too would be going down the criminal damage aspect, freedom of information act will give you all the rights you need to the car parks cctv if they decide to be difficult.
